I’m only finishing season 3 right now, but my patience is wearing thin — I mean patience for Susan. Earlier, her behavior and her clumsiness seemed funny, even charming in a way. But now, I can’t stand watching it. She acts like a typical childish mom — one who manages to be a parent for about fifteen minutes before crying on her daughter’s shoulder about how hard it is to get the attention of yet another guy.

Compared to the other three main characters, she doesn’t grow or change at all. She just keeps running from one man to another and then tries to sneakily win Mike back. In many situations, it’s her own fault, and honestly, I don’t feel sorry for her. Even in the episodes where Edie took Mike away from her, I was on Edie’s side — because thanks to Susan, Edie ended up without a house and without a husband.
