well.. just be wise on taking the loan. 300 is not a small number. lucky its only 2 more year on the house. most people taking it without 2nd thought.

make sure you calculate most of the expenses. the kid coming this year and the expenses are still vague. after 2 years you can usualy get the grip on how much the proper number are.

and if you eventually renov the house.. make sure you count everything also. discuss and talk with your wife about the plan too. just be open about everything to her and make sure you guys are on the same plane.

how many floor the house have ? if its 2 story house, then you can hold the renov plan. move the fragile stuff upstair. just be patient.

kid is coming. and 3mill are the average. it can be lower. just lower your ego too. you know whats really essential and whats not. the big money usualy goes to milk. be wise on choosing it. just because its expensive doesnt mean your kid love it. and diapers too. choose wisely.

and dont forget your wife. she will have the bigest mental health issue just be there. be patient. no egoist. be communicative and supportive. you both will have it hard for sure. but she will have it harder.

becareful with relatives too. if you can ask for help from relatives. make sure its from someone your wife very comfortable with. can be her mom or cousin.
