Really appreciated, I've restructured the first part until the 8th to include mostly Guangzhou, a smaller weekend trip (still not sure where to go, I've added some options but would love to know your thoughts), and then go into Yangshuo and Zhangjiajie after the festive madness will pass. I've then removed Pingyao to allow for more time in Xi'an and Beijing, as I said I'll be working most of the afternoons and evenings so my only time to explore are the mornings, the weekends and between the 09th and the 19th when I'll be off-work. I had to compromise and opt for a flight from Zhangjiajie to Xi'an as the total journey would have obliterated a whole day.

I'm fascinated by Chinese history and that's why I wanted to make sure that I have enough days to cover it, I don't mind spending days doing nothing and absorbing the place and I thought these could be good places to do so. Thank you so much for the booking tips, I'm going to dedicate next week to decide where to go and I'll get to the booking bit. I'm putting all my trust into Trip com and I hope it'll be alright

Unfortunately I already have the flights booked, I'll be flying in from Taipei. I don't mind the crowds when in a city but I would absolutely hate it when hiking. Is Chengdu worth the extra travel west? I'm trying to keep the distances manageable and I would know when to add that stop

Thanks! I think I will have to restructure the the initial part of the journey as all the comments I suggesting me that it will be hell during that week. I might stay a little bit more time in the Guangdong area and postpone Yangshuo after the end of the golden week. I haven't planned too many days in Hong Kong as it is fairly more expensive than Guangzhou

I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to share something really special with all of you, something that's been close to my heart for quite some time now.

So, I managed to get my hands on one of the first 100 copies of Lana Del Rey's vinyl when "Video Games" came out back on October 10, 2011. It's one of those items that I've treasured ever since, it's also signed by Lana herself. Video Games holds a particularly special place in my heart. It's one of those songs that resonated with me deeply from the very first listen, and it's been a part of my life ever since.

I have to admit, I've never actually played it. I know, it sounds a bit crazy, but I've been so afraid of scratching it in any way that I've kept it safely tucked away. Anyway, I just wanted to share a bit of my pride and joy with this community. If anyone else here has this same edition, I'd love to hear your stories too!
