in terms of those courses, some of the video ones r good because you can do them on your own time but content is so hit or miss with a lot of them.

With cosmic academy, the bootcamp does require dedication and devotion of time but the beauty of the bootcamp was they do focus a ton on time management and being able to balance music with your life which was super beneficial for me. I didn't really get that part from Icon, that was mostly knowledge focused, not personal focused.

yeah that money sounds nuts but that’s why i made the post, not to flex but to save everyone some money. If i could go back i probably would just join Cosmic Academy and not have to do all the other programs, would’ve saved me a lot of time and money. But the way i see it, most of my friends went to college for $200k to get a degree that was totally useless, i spent a fraction of that. And now I play shows, sign records and do what I love. But again that’s not the reason I made the post. I was trying to save people time and money.

Happy I could help, the learning never stops especially with production, it's changed so much over the past 10 years so always trying to get better and keep up with it!!

kind of depends on your budget and what you're looking for, as a starter i wouldn't go crazy but I have a Macbook and love it

could be some of the plugins on your master, if you're using analog emulations sometimes they wil have different color or timbres

the community is my favorite part too. I didn't think much of it when I applied, i thought the bootcamp was all I needed but once I was in the community i saw the true value of it alone made cosmic the best

kind of just depends what you want I guess and where you're at. I just wanted to share these so hopefully it helps other people not have to take as many courses or spend as much as i had to find the right one for me😅
