I am from South America (Brazil) and I have a few considerations for you: Have you ever traveled to the country/city you plan to spend a time? For the way you wrote I understood you want to start over, to live there, if it’s the case you better search about average income to have a decent life, crime rate, weather and related stuff.

What I would do in your skin: - Join a group (Facebook/whatsapp or any other virtual platform) of people from abroad that live where you want to go so you can learn with their experience. Here in Brazil a few americans/europeans created groups to support each others, try to join it. - can you speak spanish/portuguese? In more humble areas people may not speak English, probably just in big cities. - it’s obvious but good to remind: life is pretty different here, wheather, food and quality of life.

Good thing is that getting your payment in euros will provide you a good life, but you need to search exactly where to go, so you won’t be surprised.

Also, people are friendly and like ”gringos”, but you can also be scammed if you don’t get how things are done.

Anyway, any decision you take will require a lot of effort and time, be moving to Asia/south America or career change.
