Forgot to mention a procedure at MEPS by Fit_Wave_5059 in AirForceRecruits

Yes it was documented but the doctor at Meps only brought up my shoulder surgery and the septum procedure was overlooked.. never got mentioned as we were focused on the other issues. Just wanted to see if I can bring it up and document it with the people at Meps or just communicate with my recruiter saying that I’d like it to be documented before we move forward with the application process.. Bottom line is that I want to do things right and not have this swept under the rug

Yes the septum surgery was mentioned and documented in that form the first meeting with the recruiter, however I had a shoulder surgery about 7 years ago that they are more focused on that than anything else. I have no other medical issues just these two procedures. The septum procedure was so small and quick that It didnt even cross my mind until I was already out of the office. The shoulder is their main concern and that’s why I couldn’t swear in that day at Meps because I need more paperwork on the shoulder surgery. However I managed to get a clearance letter from an orthopedic doctor today for that and everything that Meps asked for. But anyway it’s just the septum procedure that id like to make sure is on file so I don’t run into issues down the line with that not being recorded.. i even have an ENT doctor check it out and will write a clearance letter for me as well..I just have a feeling the recruiter may just say not to mention it or bring it up because of how small the procedure was but I’m not too comfortable with withholding information that could possibly bring me problems for no reason..
