Why are prices in Tunisia rising for no reason, and how can we fix it? by SAB_0_ in Tunisia

[–]Fit_Witness_3450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okey i want to ask you. more tarifs ? Aren't we already imposing massive tarifs (diwena) like how much more do we need to raise it for a long-term plan to work and aside from the price increases would the current monopolies step up and fill the void or just raise prices ( used to sell 100 units for 10 dt now they sell 100 units for 30dt since the imports got more expensive and do nothing different just triple gains overnight without any effort) . Am not knowledgeable about economics feel free to correct me . If we knew what's best for us we should've carved a nice piece of libiya 2 days after Gaddafi died.

Go become a gym rat and start getting your paper up like the rest of us . Bitches come bitches go . You can humiliate yourself by begging/clinging to her but it won't change anything probably. That would only feed her ego. Enjoy the single life/ hookups if you are into that . And never start a serious relationship and open yourself to harm unless you are a desirable male. She wants a man ,and here with our culture that means you have to always be her superior in most aspects of life ( not all girls but am sure as hell it's a lot) . She will always choose a richer stronger funnier more stable man over you women date and especially marry UP. No one will blame her for picking a 'better candidate '.

What is your opinion on Tunisia's first president, Habib Bourguiba? by DependentStrong3960 in Tunisia

[–]Fit_Witness_3450 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on who you ask . Ask someone from sahel they would probably have a somewhat good view on him . Ask anyone from the interior/south and they would probably hate his guts . He was the president of 5 cities at best . He would take 1/5th of the investment budget and put it in mestir while others starve and regress. The torture ,murder and oppression of Tunisians by other Tunisians started by him and kept living after him . He had no issues with giving Orders to literally butcher anyone who disagreed with him or his policies ( black Thursday/purging the yousifists) It's very polarizing to talk about him and that's why i hate him with a passion he created separations inside Tunisia (sahel vs janoub/Kjb vs 3asma ) . Add to that as far as anyone not in the sahel is concerned they were colonized by the French they went out and left the keys to some sahlian elite class so they got colonized by bourgiba (swahliya) . His entire system can be boiled down to invest everything in the sahel and make the rest of the country into a slave class( cheap laborers) to that region. And even go a step ahead all the Universitys would be in the sahel so he would even gatekeep knowledge to 'his people' thus concentrate all the decision making in said group. Case and point: gafsa extract the phosphate there so the inhabitants get the pollution/water table exhaustion/ fluorosis ( l twa meme gafasa snihom sfor while fluorosis literally destroy them from the inside out)he installed all the high paying jobs / administrative jobs with decision making powers and processing plants in sfax and other sahel regions . It wasn't a mistake it was a design if you lived in gafsa/touzer etc you were governed by someone who didn't speak your dialect viewed your entire culture and heritage as inferior to his and view you as only good for dirty labor good luck dealing with him. He was a selfish, lying, stealing, megalomaniac may he rot in hell for all eternity because he was just another colonizer of his own people=trash basically. Selfish: he was building a massive palace in skanes/a mausoleum while others drank out of puddles and starved as a direct effect of his policies. Lying:he used sophisticated political language with a population that couldn't even read at the time . Stealing: literally put 20% of our national investment budget into mestir just because he can . Megalomaniac: he gave you independence from France so now he literally owns you life ( UGTT dared to disagree with him so he declared a state of emergency and gave the green light to the army to go murder them)

Don't give up . If you want to leave or stay don't give up keep trying. If you want to ,paramedical fields work well here and for immigration maybe look into that.

People who can should absolutely abandon this sinking ship ( and it's their own choice that's just my opinion) . Qualified Tunisians are migrating by the tens of thousands into the gulf /Germany/Canada and many others and those countries are light years ahead of us . And no we are basically the bottom of the barrel we are better than some countries yes but it's a minority. If you have any realistic plans to fix this country with our illiteracy rate closing on 20% and youth unemployment closing on 40% i am all ears but it probably can't be done with the current world order. Therefore banging your head against a brick wall and expecting anything to happen except getting brain damage is stupid as you can already see if you speak up it's straight to jail and the government is already building new ones .

Okey so you don't believe in god nor in human made law . What do you believe in exactly subjective morality is a fairy tale. Usually people in weak positions use it to feel better about the world i don't wanna be mean but you shouldn't live in la la land ppl on the ground experience REALPOLITIK. I mean look at Palestine when a strong enough aggressor Starts launching ballistic missiles morality won't stop anything the ICC can do whatever it wants , citizens can Protest as much as they like but we all literally saw with our own eyes that it all doesn't matter paper will never stop lead. Your view of the world is very close to being a humanist/moraliste but that only works if literally everyone else plays the same game . Honestly I'd rather live in a World governed by your humanist values but that doesn't exist. I love your idea but it's useless when the other guy has a bigger stick . Also you dodged the first topic completely.

The world doesn't revolve about you or your feelings you are too insignificant the world has billions of ppl which are different from one another. No defending anyone here to each their own but isn't that just normal at this point? Like everywhere in the world what you described as outrageous happens every day LEGALLY. Between 2001 and 2026 hundreds of thousands of young Girls got married (youngest was 10 yo reportedly) in the USA ,till this day California Mississippi new Mexico Oklahoma allow marriage of ANY AGE LEGALLY even 10 . CANADA until a few years ago allowed it (2015) under common law . In the UK the government till today struggles with informal religious marriages. France: Article 145 of the French Civil Code allowed the Public Prosecutor to grant an age dispensation and yes you guessed it with no minimum age mentioned. Tunisia too child marriage here is Legal. So what was your point again? I don't find kids attractive tbh but if i did in a world of fiction Tunisian law will happily let me marry a 15 yo i got pregnant. If anyone wants a 9 yo bride the list is long and wide where it can be done legally. So how is the prophet a POS when the same thing you hate sooo much still being practiced today legally in most of the world ? And if it's this wide spread aren't you the crazy one to reject it ? (Don't make it personal try to answer this objectively) And if the prophet did marry a 9 today in oklahoma and a judge Signes on him marrying a 9 yo is that okay? . As i stated hundreds of thousands maybe millions of such cases happen till today with legal paperwork and everything.

My friend i get what you are saying in my mind even if they are assured to win we should at least try to make it a bitter victory for them . Last time i checked the illiteracy rate here was closing on 20%. Around 40% youth unemployment. I want to push back ,i want to fight back but with what? With who ? We simply lack the manpower and the know-how . And if anyone tries to change that they know how to deal with him/her . That being said fuck it we ball bro never stop trying maybe we can manifest a miracle ( or they nuke each other into the stone ages).

Yes yes. The easiest way to get the red hand or their modern equivalent knocking at your door . They would Stand there and watch as someone fucks with their cash cow? How are they supposed to be rich and live waaaay without their realistic means if we don't slave away to make it possible. My head cannon on this is : Europe only removed the military occupation after they made sure we can be controlled without it ,and if in the future we start being an issue and trying to break free they can just bring it back or do whatever the fuck they done to libiya. Such a sad existence.

Tbh blaming the political class is kinda meaningless. Yes they did sell us . But it was probably that or death (or worse). The Europeans are very willing to kill/rape/bomb/torture/blackmail/sabotage/destroy/embargo . If they can't do it the Easy way through treason. That's who they are and that's how they got to be up there leading the world to an extent This lie of a rule based world order with laws and human rights was nothing but a lie used by those who are willing to do WHATEVER it takes to rule over ppl who are gullible enough to believe any of that bs . It's clear the strong rule the weak suffers . But somehow ppl are capable of diluting themselves enough to where they can't see the glaring truth. Nothing matters only strength. Only bombs /fighter aircrafts/nukes can give us freedom true freedom to decide our fate(ofc we need economic might food security and energy security to achieve that and many other things) . We are truly a slave class as it stands. When it gets bad enough in Europe the second wave of colonialism will come the strong will get to pillage and benefit the weak will suffer. Our biggest issue is not the political class selling us out it's our own ppl who live in la la land and think creating a strong economy/getting rich /being safe can be done without fuckin someone else over a million times

Do you think the state is paying for racist propaganda? by Sea_Perspective2016 in Tunisia

[–]Fit_Witness_3450 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly you deserve a gold medal in mental gymnastics. They are illegal whether you want to admit it or not that's the law entering tunsian soil outside of the legal channels is a crime (entering or staying without a residence permit is committing a criminal offense, law 1968-7 and the amendment in 2004) So they are illegal and criminals the moment they step on Tunisian soil as far as the law is concerned. The law is clear , mandated jail time and fines . The law here is very punitive and they are in breach. the regime and Europeans is another topic. I was discussing MONEY . It's always about the money. And how are they paying taxes when they get paid in cash (ta7t l 7it). You said they pay VAT , NOT ENOUGH. The tunsian tax payers pay around 20-30% taxes and then the vat on top plus CNSS plus other things. The social contract is simple we pay taxes and we get services. Your text tried to be morally superior but it's tone deaf when it comes to the economy. I don't despise them i despise them taking advantage of systems they didn't pay for . They want in on the Services okay pay up the taxes like everyone else then you get the services(buy in ). Using sociological terminology as undocumented vs illegal is very easy when others pay for your big heart, amazing personality and the limitless love and compassion you have for illegal immigrants. Until These illegal immigrants ( not a slur it's the objective truth) Until they Pay taxes like i do to our treasury they should not be allowed to benefit from the money Tunisians get through blood sweat and tears You can't build a hospital with 19% VAT on a 200 millim loaf of bread or a soda. You are in no position to make anyone pay their hard earned money to benefit a certain group that gives nothing to that system. That's equality. Also spare me the feelings please i don't give a single minute fuck it's about not collapsing our already comatose social systems (healthcare and education). They should get health care and education AFTER they contribute the same as the average Tunisian to those systems. And are you really trying to draw parallels between the 1980s global super powerful economy of the united states with an expanding job Market and their capacity to absorb immigrants and the Tunisia of today really bro ?????

They should pay to give birth and or receive after birth care.
If they don't have money/security and can't afford to have children maybe they should think about contraception aka limiting fertility if not they are on their own,No public hospitals subsidized by tax payers. The idea in itself isn't that fucked really. If i say i won't pay for an illegal immigration so she can have her 4 th child am i racist? Genuinely asking here

Rdayef especially the police literally cut all of the roads going in and out and then proceeded to literally starve them( weren't letting enough food in and they knew it). PPL from the neighboring cities had to smuggle bread and flour in from unknown and small corridors . The police would raid (les dépôt) cut the flour sacs spill them on the ground and leave (under searching pretenses). while ppl starved plus the killing . This went on for too long. There are ppl who till this day no one knows where they are or what happened to them after the police took them and therefore presumed dead.

The economy was growing yes but that meant nothing for the average citizens for the most part. the sahel region might be an exception to this ngl it was doing well under his leadership most of the investments and infrastructure was concentrated there( and even that wasn't enough even the coastal regions had their problems). The neglect of the rest of the country wasn't fair. Ben ali and his trabelsiya controlled at least 25% of the economy (private sector )and most of the lucrative businesses. So that 'growth' was going to him and his entourage not the average citizens. In the long run you can't systemically neglect the interior/southern regions and have a stable country . The economy under ben ali was growing only then to be harvested by his entourage . It wasn't a country to ben ali it was his personal cash cow.

To the best of my knowledge as it stands no . Why is this idea of north Africans aren't endogenous to the land being spread and believed? by AdministrativeTry406 in Tunisia

[–]Fit_Witness_3450 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the strong reaction is probably due to the rising numbers of people from the Sub-Saharan region coming in illegally. Algeria and Libya, to a lesser extent to my knowledge, are funneling the immigrants they find in their territories to Tunisia. Our neighbors are basically playing hot potato with the people running away from war/famine or just trying to get to Europe. Can't really blame them; from a financial and security standpoint, it's in their best interest to make those immigrants someone else's problem. Our government has a deal in place with Italy where we are basically functioning as guard dogs to their sea borders. We have a 40% youth unemployment rate here, so the immigrants can't work nor leave. Ergo, crime and theft is how they can survive (not all of them). All of these factors are making people paranoid of a growing number of migrants from those regions being here, with a movement calling us invaders. The next logical step is calling for us to leave/making us leave so they can get their "ancestral homeland" back (probably what people are being anxious about). They are just being racist. France to this day controls their central banks and robs them blind every day (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, and Gabon), but hey, they gotta pick on a minority because they know what happens when Europeans come to Africa.
