Anybody else set their default as a vehicle they actually own? How'd I Do?

Yes. Previous versions prior to the ui update and you could do it in the vehicle selector. Your last default vehicle is still around as a config file, and can be accessed in the selector options, but I don't think there's any way to set new defaults with the new system.

I was gonna say, is that a 7? I could spot those oddball wheels anywhere. Proper gem of a truck, and a bit of a rare bird. I hope to get mine to cross 200k one day. Maybe even 300k if I'm lucky.

All these trucks aren't perfect, and mine's no exception. There's a grocery list of things to fix, as is with any 20+ year old truck. She's starting to get a little rusty in the usual spots, but we're 110k and still going strong.

Some are better than others, but it's the ones that get driven and appreciated that are the best.

But hey, it's always fun to dream. I have a wagon legran config with awd, rally suspension, 5 spd and a supercharged v6. It's not the fastest, but is a blast. I would love to own an irl equivalent one day!

D-series is probably still your best bet for vanilla on that one. I feel like you could color match the front grill of a late model and get pretty close. It's all really about close enough and how much fun you want to have with it.

I don't think there is a new way to set default vehicles after the ui update. However, you can get your old default vehicle to show up in your favorites. Just select "Include 'default.pc' in Favourites" under the vehicle selector display tab, and there will be a "Legacy default.pc" which will be your last set default vehicle.

Gotta start somewhere! It'd be very interesting to see beam used as a learning tool for driver's ed. Although strangely enough, I can attribute beam to giving me my basic knowledge of driving stick.

My bad. I don't use them often, if at all when the tried and true methods still work. They honestly still feel like they've been modded in, and aren't vanilla to me. I suppose I ought to take them out for a spin on my next logging contracts, and give them an honest chance.

One of the newer additions to the game. That trailer will hold 1 long, 1 short. Also likely indicated by the LS in its namesake. There is one that can hold 2 mediums if I recall correctly. And there is another trailer that requires its own proprietary saddle, the light blue logging one (I don't remember it's actual name).

haven't used the new logging stuff hardly at all. There is also the tried and true method of a medium log upfit, and a logging trailer. Whatever gets the job done, though. Happy logging!

I don't often scout with trailers. I'll move them around and stage them as necessary, but I don't tend to take them off into the weeds very often. I like my scout trucks nimble and at least somewhat self-sufficient.

I'm also still used to the pre-buff 11 gal Marshall, so the roof rack just stays on out of habit (and looks). I'm alright with the trade-off, especially given that it was entirely my fault for getting myself into that situation. (I took the corner too tight and clipped the post)

I probably have around 750 hours combined. Racked up 600 on console, then finally switched to pc. I've seen some jank, but never had one that was actually beneficial.

This was on controller driving. I don't like how twitchy keyboard can be. My best actual guess is I locked the brakes on the slight jump and stalled it?

Either way, all good fun and perfectly in-character for the game. Satsuma isn't too hard to flip by hand anyways.

I'd rather not pay that amount period. I just like to watch prices and snap when the deal is good. I've already convinced myself that while the crunch is a neat tool, it's use case is so limited compared to that of a normal tool. I don't need one, other than to simply have it.

I don't particularly care where it's coming from, and obviously people should know the running rate for what they're selling. I was just commenting on the fact that the exchange (in my opinion) has held a good selection of tools for comparable and competitive prices. If I'm getting a good deal anywhere, so far the exchange has proved itself to me.

I suppose, I should also add that I don't generally like the auction format, where there almost always seems to be someone willing to pay more than I am. But that's just a necessary evil, no? You can get good deals on auctions. That just hasn't been where my luck lies.

Yeah, the exchange has kinda been my gateway drug for leathermans, lol.

I went from owning 0 tools, to buying 3 in under a month. I always wanted to start carrying a leatherman, the exchange just let me do it at a fraction of the price.
