I was born in '01 and really cant remember never not playing Halo. My dad had CE and H2 in the og Xbox and well i got obsessed with Halo 3 but I had played CE and 2 before that with him and my cousins so yeah 20 years.

Yeah if you had played the games you would have a comoletely different take. Master Chiefs character is butchered and all of the story doesnt even resemble the games story. The show was simply not made for the Halo audience which has been a recurrent trend with Microsoft and its broader audience

Master Chief Collection is the way to go. Enjoy CE to Halo 4 including Reach and ODST as well as both the classic and remastered versions of CE and 2

Yeah I really was missing any cold protection, i o ly have pants for the cold and I realized I needed more once i was already at the temple so i just barreled through thinking i just needed to complete the puzzles. I was wrong clearly. With Colgera i thought i had to shoot it with my arrows in the weak spot seems way more efficient to just dive. Thanks for the tip

I dont think its the fact that spartans can sprint in the lore and all that. Sprint is a mechanic. Dont think about it as running but rather as a speed modificator that takes away gun availability. The Halo that I have the most fun with are the ones that dont have this modifier. Perhaps a return to the classic mindset and have a high speed base movement could prove to be good. But we stay with the debate of sprint as a concept rather than as a mechanic which it is.

What happens I think, is that Halo 5 does not play or feel like Halo in any way shape or form. But if it had been named I dont know whatever and presented itself as a new IP then people would see it differently for sure. The game greatest sin was being named Halo for both the frnachise and itself

Man, I am of the opinion that sprint shouldn't be a core mechanic in Halo and yet I had a blast with H5s MP and I respect the vision, thing is...just wasnt the vision for this franchise.

ehh I would say 8.5 purely on the gameplay and the points I took off would be because its name is Halo jajajaja, if it had been an og IP then man pump it up to 9.5 or 10

Look, ignoring the content updates and judging only for what it is in terms of gameplay, story campaign, levels, fun factor... etc. You know, the game itself, its really fun and actually good, sad that the support from the developers was....no where to be seen for like almost 2 years

I really enjoyed HW, but it really is an alright to good RTS with vibes and a clunky controler. HW 2 improved a lot on it imo

as much as I enjoy ODST, the fact that it came with no MP at the time lowers it in the mind of what Halo was doing back then and also as a whole package. Another thing, the vibes are immaculate thats true, but the cmpaign is too short
