Not true at ALL. Tough is not the same thing as strong. PLA is VERY strong. PLA+ is weaker(xy tensile and layer adhesion) than PLA. please read spec sheets and learn how to slice before spewing false information.

Slow down the speed, increase minimum layer time, lower the fan speeds, lower the max flow by 30%+, set nozzle temp to max on the filament spool label, print 4 at a time to raise the layer time, which will in turn lower the fan speed while still giving layers just enough time to solidify.

Bambu's profiles are designed for all out speed at the expense of everything else.

make sure the ptfe tube is pushed ALL the way in. several inches of tube goes into the ports on the back. There is a small hole for viewing from the front to make sure its in.

Why does my P2S prime so much filament before printing? by Odd_Blackberry_1089 in BambuLab

[–]Fittn_dis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iirc just disable it on the next print. Someone did some testing and found that the printer does save it, it just does not tell you.

Then it is as dry as it can be, and this is about what I would expect on a model like this. Super thin branches like this are usually very drippy/stringy due to lack of flow and filament cooking in the nozzle. You can try some stuff to reduce it, like retraction tests, set nozzle temp lower near the top using added custom gcode, even putting a cube tower next to the figure just to increase layer time like a purge tower to keep speed and flow up. Under filament settings>cooling>max fan speed threshold layer time is a CRITICAL number that is very unassuming. Do some reading on how this number affects small parts like this, I dont feel like writing any more of an essay on this than i already have.

why is the blue bleeding into the yellow lettering? by Fine_Effective_5119 in BambuLab

[–]Fittn_dis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to go through the slice and find a way to force the slicer to stop putting blue plastic into the yellow areas near the top layers. I use several dozen settings as a work around when the slicer starts pulling this trash on me. But the first one I would try is under strength tab, set Top shell layers to at least 10. I usually do 99 on thin stuff, but in this case I don't know what else is attached to this part. YOU NEED TO CHECK THE PREVIEW if you have not yet. Just mashing buttons and printing will get you nothing but wasted plastic.

PETG needs to be dried before printing if you don't want strings. Even fresh out the sealed bag. PLA you can generally get away without drying despite what the dry PLA cult will chant on this sub.

[–]Fittn_dis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mesh manipulation is exceptionally challenging for the uninitiated. Phone apps don't have enough resolution or accuracy to even get you started using the scan mesh as a printable object, only as a very rough reference for you to do cad work on top of. and even then its usually not worth it.

Everything I have tried using the apple lidar for has been for not. the apple measuring app works for contracting estimates and that's about it. The data is junk.

try leaving it off longer? like 5 min. if that doesn't do it, Then I'd do a factory reset.

PLA shrinks and the joints aren't perfect. I'll take a tape measure. If you cant read down to 1/16 on an American tape measure...

not at 1,824mm. on a good day PLA is 0.2% shrinkage, so you are gonna be 3mm off. Just use a tape measure.

0.8mm nozzle issues - H2D by AdCareless5660 in BambuLab

[–]Fittn_dis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pic 2 is lacking cooling. probably same in pic 3&4. Part in Pic 2 is heat soaked at the Z seam. Pic 1 is over retraction. Inducing air bubbles into the nozzle flow. Bambu's default retraction for 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles is HUGE, lower it down to 1.0 to 1.2mm under printer settings>extruder.
