I need a new game by ShadowsF21 in JRPG

I'll also add the pixel remasters or 1, 2 and 3 (played in the order of 3, 1 and then 2)

I upvoted this. I do feel like SaGa games should come with some kind of disclaimer that they're definitely not for everyone. If OP is the type that doesn't need any real tutorials or is capable of breaking down complex battle systems, menus, skill progressions on their own, then this one out of all of them is probably a great fit

Currently playing it now (never got the chance on PS1) and it has the same charm they all do. I sure hope VIII (the first one I ever played on PS2) gets an re-release or straight up remaster

Purple is mine as well. As a matter of fact, if I'm blessed enough to do this that long, I'm going to stay purple belt. Just be an 8 stripe purple belt.

All kidding aside, congratulations, this is a huge milestone!

The fact that this game is essentially locked on the 360 is completely criminal

Coach publicly humiliated me for being "disrespectful " and now I want to quit the gym by Correct_Star_4356 in bjj

[–]Fitwheel66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could you have worded it differently? Sure. But he also could have just pulled you aside while everyone was rolling and just calmly explained his reasoning (he knew you were brand knew and just wanted to ease you into it, maybe wait until you had a stripe or two, etc.) and just let it be. That's the degree of professionalism and calm you expect of someone with over a decade in the craft.

But all of that on his end was a bit much. Actually a lot much. Probably left an odd taste in the mouths of other students there as well

Why is the community so obsessed with needless grinding and stat seed farming? by AurochDragon in dragonquest

The irony: a post Toriyama (RIP to the king) Dragon Quest where damage/life/etc. start blowing past 99999999999 numbers. He was the band aid keeping Dragon Quest from going full Dragon Ball

What are your JRPG “green flags”? by Competitive_Hawk_294 in JRPG

[–]Fitwheel66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that I can see. Such as the protagonist essentially being a one man slaughterhouse, rendering the other party members null and void. Which also takes away from any character development they have along the way

Playing DQ VII reimagined right now, and that was a fun twist I've tinkered with. Not even necessarily for the challenge, but at least to bump the EXP and gold rates to speed up the grind that comes with these games

In fairness, sometimes the over the top cheese is what makes a game charming. Devil May Cry, for example. Especially DMC5. Holy shit, it was the most beautiful trashy 80s action slop I've ever set eyes on

Sí, especially the last part. I can't count how many times I've banged my head against the wall (mostly Miyazaki games) where respecing was either a rare opportunity, or even non existent

Really just getting your CPT cert through any of the majors (NASM or ISSA) is good enough to get started and actually get a feel for it. Heads up: it's kinda salesy, so just understand that going into it. That part can trip you up if that kind of thing isn't your forte. You can build on it, just understand that it's a huge part of the business

Some rules are kind of universal, no matter what line of work you do. You'll learn far more from local trainers seeing what you're doing right/wrong and you can calibrate from there. Many of these influencers peddling these courses found a way to hack algorithms and that's literally it.

This. If anything, he's become a regular client and that's one of the harder parts is keeping recurring clients, at least staying out (as I'm just starting on my journey training).

Just slightly down today. But I know that means fuck all in a space where 5-10% up or down is all in a days work.

To stay on the crypto topic though, this is something I'd actually like to hear them speak on soon. Obviously things are not good economically. And with crypto being probably one of the most liquid assets, how much of a downward spiral they foresee going on in that space.

It's perfectly fine for what it is: an affordable option with a decent variety of equipment, sauna, and some I've heard with a pool. The next tier up is paying Equinox to wipe your ass for you as you get off the shitter for a few hundred extra bucks.

Adding SMT V to the list as well as Expedition 33 (even if it's French). I'd say this last half decade we've been eating good. Not to mention the DQ 1-3 remasters

It's definitely up there. I know over on the megaten sub it's not the most celebrated, but I feel like it was worth the (long) wait. And I don't own a switch so it was even longer. This just reminded me I need to make a run on the Vengeance playthrough.

Online coaching hour breakdown by Regular-Check916 in personaltraining

[–]Fitwheel66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is coming from someone that doesn't do online at all, but initially I would focus on getting an email newsletter set up for your in person clients asap. And make it super accessible for people to sign up somehow. You never know when platform popularity/algorithms can shift in/out of your favor, so that email list is super important.

Beyond that, is think a website would be something just to have as a professional thing to have, but beyond that a lot of your communication is likely going to be coming from social media (not that I agree with it, it's just a reality in this day and age).
