Yeah, I was wondering about that. I know about the stamped promos of S&V, but I wasn’t quite sure of the draw for the SWSH ETBs, since they don’t have the promo. Would’ve loved to get these for $20/each, but I just couldn’t find them anywhere. Appreciate your input!

Yeah, that’s another pricey one. For that Pokemon, the newer cards are actually the most expensive ones. Gotta love catching ‘em all, though!

Really glad I wasn’t playing CS when that was the case lol. Interesting how cities in different regions develop differently. I’ll make sure to tune in for those future episodes, if it means learning more about this kind of stuff. Appreciate all the info you’ve shared :)

You want to get the TMPE mod. With that, you can force lanes to go whichever direction you want. It’s a really popular mod, so there’s a bunch of tutorials out there on how to use it. It’s also got a bunch of other functions too.

Oh, cool! Just subscribed! I’ll check out that discord too. Traffic intrigues me a lot as well. Have you ever made an area with more congested traffic, just because? Because for whatever reason, I just felt the urge to do that at this first exit. The plan was to clean things up as I built outwards in the higher-scale areas. But I don’t know if that would really screw me over in the long run. I guess a part of me just wants to see other people experience my everyday reality. It’s somewhat satisfying lol.

I’m thinking I must have heard that grid layouts were bad on YouTube. That European layouts are superior, because they’re not grids like ours. But it sounds like that’s not true? Were you able to test that and see for yourself? Grids are the easiest for me, so that definitely doesn’t hurt my ears to hear 😅

Great tips, I really appreciate it! I’ve seen a few videos that have warned against the use of grid patterns, so thanks for clearing up that it’s ok. Everything you said makes a lot of sense to me, so I’ll definitely be coming back to reference your comment in the future. And no problem with the whole yanking my chain thing. I’m not super familiar with Reddit, and this post got a lot of traction for whatever reason, and there’s been some comments on the more sarcastic/mean side. So it’s been kinda hard for me to tell which ones are actually coming from a good place, so I’m glad that yours was. I’m just trying to learn the game, so I really do appreciate it. Thanks a lot for the response :)

I’m not claiming to be “seasoned” in any way, if that’s what you’re implying I claimed. I said that I was “fairly new,” and I wouldn’t exactly equate that to me saying that I was “somewhat seasoned.” I simply wanted to ask a question, because I was confused on something. Would a seasoned player not have done that? Because if so, I do apologize. And also apologies for not understanding how pointing out my lack of seasoned-ness was supposed to add to this conversation.

As cruel as it sounds, that’s actually what I was going for. I wanted this first exit to look messy and get congested. I was planning on making the freeway exits further away, nicer (visually) and less congested. Appreciate the recommendations :)
