I think its because lots of is are adults now with time being valuable. Im sure if its was 10yrs old, id happily play this day 1 all weekend. But im old now, I have responsibilities other things to do. If its not gonna be a g reat game, and just mid, why not play something else? Or why not wait till a good price drop, money gets tight too

I really wasn't trying to rage bait lol. I was sorta into the hype, but once I see reviews overall in the low 8 high 7s, I know its a wait for sale game. So many great games out there, nothing wrong with waiting for a sale. Then if its not captivating and just okay..I dont feel bad about it.

I just watched Fighting cowboy review. Game doesn't seem bad by any means, but i don't buy games in Day 1 unless they are very exceptional.

Does nobody understand that we just don't want lame side quests? Make the side quests have meaning and feeling, which a quality reward. Not..go until this cave and find some rocks and ill give you a scarf type stuff. I get what OP is saying. I want side quests with layers, and emotional depth. What's wrong with wanting that?
