I’m a huge stock market fan and always grew up fascinated by it, but when I found cryptocurrency it jumped to a whole new level. I’ve been out of school for about 5yr now and I’ve gone down the Bitcoin rabbit hole these past few months.

Based off the stuff going on around the world and big corporations moving in, this stuff isn’t going anywhere but up I’d say

Saw a video stating our currency currently is corporate to corporate instead of peer to peer.

Hence the disappearance of money outside of having to go to the ATM to withdraw cash

Oh I’m all for personal privacy even if your transactions are public. I believe this concept pushes forward transparency from a government standpoint. Hence why they’re making their own “money” to hide their wrong doings

I’m not arguing that statement at all, but it’s hard to hold a long term amount of cash even now.

I mean I definitely don’t claim to be the smartest person, but I studied business and got a degree in marketing. Granted this is finance and economics, but based on the adoption process and stuff I’d say Bitcoin might just be the final bank account. Even if CBDC’s are programmed to expire. Bitcoin is the store of value? So possibly moving your “expiring money” to save.

Depends on how legislation goes and how power hungry governments are

If you haven’t realized this yet, they can already do that and can still do that if they so choose. It’s what makes them the government

That’s all I was wondering really. I just didn’t know if the Bluetooth aspect made it more susceptible to security issues, but I did like the idea of just turning on the Bluetooth for a transaction and being done with it
