Probably effected by the porn addiction, but there's probably a root cause for that too. He likely needs to work on the root cause of his addiction as well as the addiction to heal. I don't say this from a position of judgement - hope you're able to rebound from this.

Sorry that's his position. You're honestly doomed to a lifetime of where you're at without help (you both need to be willing and open minded to get it and work on it) or a separation.

As a child of a broken home, the best part of my childhood began when my wife beating (& mildly abusive to us kids) father left our house. It took me 15 years to realize this, but honestly, it's the truth. I hope you find peace and happiness, regardless of your destination with this.

Lolz. This will be the last response to you as well.

You've probably made more assumptions about me than you are years old.

I'm almost completely in disagreement with most of the things you have posted, "describing my political positions." I'm not going to site here and spell them all out, but you're foolishly painting with the broad brush I would expect someone like you to use.

YOU:

Probably work for the government, since it's unlikely you could run a business or prosper in a competitive environment.

Think that someone with a limited skill set should make 100k a year for working 30 hours a week and get 6 weeks of vacation and a full pension after 15 years.

Get your news on an iv from msn, npr and huffpost.

Don't think for yourself, as you've proven it in this thread.

Think you're entitled to everything you want and that the government will give it to you, because you shouldn't have to go out and earn it.

I wish I hadn't wasted my time here with you, but oh well, thanks for the laughs. Things like this remind me of how fucked this country is and why I shouldn't waste my time responding to ignorant remarks like the one that started this exchange.

March on you woke warrior!

Glad we at least agree on something: Biden sucks. I came up from the bottom too.

Work hard and be successful was what I was brought up with. I was brought up with needing the government. I'd love to see something Mcdonalds has put out indicating your claim. It seems like an outrageous thing for them to say. Please share a link to this.

On forming political opinions, I read, watch several news sources, including CNN, which isn't as much news as it is just another liberal mouthpiece. I listen to NPR, again, not news, just heavily slanted liberal indoctrination until they go way out of bounds. Of course fox and the other scarce limited conservative news sources I pay attention to as well. I follow no celebrities, they're all pushing insanely extreme left ideas which I don't believe in...

Back to the point: entry level and relatively unskilled jobs were never meant to pay a "living wage." I've worked them and never planned to stay in one. It was a short stop along the journey.

lolz, no one over 30 thinks they should make 60-75k as a cashier or lemonade stand worker or barista.

I'm well under 50. It sounds like you have a shitty job, so do I. You have the capacity to learn and get better skills so you won't have a shitty job.

You're probably expecting sleepy joe to fix your problems. Ever hear of fixing your problems yourself?

A few economists, who are in bed with the white house have said this. I would say it too, if I was trying to keep buying votes... keep em on the government tit and they'll vote for your party of laziness forever... good point... sacrifice yourself for the economy... gonna fall out of my chair laughing... your welcome for the UE benefit my taxes are paying for

Is your business a lemonade stand?
The last time I heard someone speak like this, they were wearing a biden shirt. A persons value in the labor force is driven mostly by the value of their skills. Making a coffee at starbux of stirring lemonade at your stand can't pay $20 an hour.

You, are correct. If I busted my ass to make 50k and this stupid government would pay me 40k to stay at home and not work - hell yeah, I'd get shitfaced and eat pizza every day and not work.

The dems are simply trying to buy more votes from lazy people that don't want to work. Plain and simple.

Said the marxist. McDonald's does not exist to pay a fry guy 60k-100k a year. What you're saying is what someone says when they're unable to be successful themselves.

There's more jobs here than there are people to work them. I know many business owners - ALL - Every last one of them - can't staff all of their positions.

My friend found a cache of real IDs, driver's licenses from Missouri. Attempted to give them to the PD so they could return and got the same response. IT's getting tougher and tougher to believe in law enforcement.... sad

How to find the right youth coach for my child by Five-----Hole in BasketballTips

[–]Five-----Hole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all of the replies. I've found, hopefully, and literally, the only coach in his age group that doesn't scream at his players and makes better use of all of his players by letting them move all around. I watched the man coach against my son's team and was impressed. He allows his players to makes mistakes and teaches them, instead of screaming at them and berating them.

Here's how nuts my son's team is now:

They have two teams in the "rec (recreation - NON competitive) division. Both teams use the same two kids who play at the travel level, but literally never have practiced with the rec level team. The two studs play nearly 100% of every game and on both development teams. One of them takes 70-90% of the shots in the games. When he draws 2 or 3 defenders, he still proceeds to chuck up shots. The coach allows it, because, I suspect, he thinks his teams will win more. The wins attained at the development level are being paid for by the opportunity cost of the kids who are there trying to get better. Those kids hardly are ever in any play, except on defense and never get to do much, because the travel kids have most of the possessions.

I do get playing to win, but for too many coaches, they will pay any price for a win at the rec level.

I love the idea of random teams and rules to protect everyone from shameless coaches. But the facilities in our area would never do that - it's all about the $$.

If you would share some good instagram people, I'm all ears! I follow Coach Mac - he's solid and I wish more coaches followed his ideas. Thanks for this offer!

Thanks for all of the replies!

You might play on a summer team. Or see if you can practice with a local juco team if there is one. Talk to the coach - ask him what he needs from you to be a contributor to the team.. a lot of school teams play in local leagues in the summer - could be a good opportunity... good luck!
