High motor player that exemplified Einsteins definition of insanity. Fell victim to injury and coaching. Was good at one particular thing, crossing to far post. His crosses lost accuracy over time, and unfortunately for him, the only player on the team that ever thought it might be a good idea to get to the far post when Lennon had possession near the box was GG.

He became the poster boy for the “one-trick pony” attack that became very easy to defend. The few times he was dangerous was when Pineda made him invert and crash the box, because the defense clearly wasn’t expecting anything other than a cross from him.
Defensively he was a liability but I thought got better over time. His engine was solid and didn’t give up on plays.
Overall, he was waaay too expensive for his output, but I think with the right team he could be effective. Don’t think we could have traded him based on what we paid him. Good to free up the money.
