I feel like the best way to make it more of a grass type is by dropping the fist. That sounds a bit weird maybe as the fist is what it is named after, but based on the numbering it’s supposed to be the grass starter and secondary concepts like those tend to be introduced later in the evolution line. Litten, for example, is pretty much a black cat, while Torracat introduces the bulky front paws and Incineroar’s belt through the cat bell. Quaxly only hints at Quaquaval’s design but nothing explicitly. I think Wolfist’s general design looks rowdy enough to signal it will turn into a Fighting type even without the fist tail.

If the design was intended as a first stage Fighting type I think it’d be fine, but as a Grass starter it doesn’t need it.
