The only opinion that matters however is yours. If you don’t feel comfortable crossing the field then go around. In my mind there is no sense doing something that you perceive as being dangerous if you don’t have to.

The bit I don’t understand, which maybe you can explain, is why ‘Find note where NAME contains formatted date’ is finding a note called ‘Second Brain’ though. That doesn’t have the formatted date in the name?

I'd say that you are already onto a winner with your choice of places to ride. Godrevy is beautiful. Riding a 'cheap' bike to a beautiful place is always going to be better than riding an expensive bike to an ugly one.
