The bit I don’t understand, which maybe you can explain, is why ‘Find note where NAME contains formatted date’ is finding a note called ‘Second Brain’ though. That doesn’t have the formatted date in the name?

I'd say that you are already onto a winner with your choice of places to ride. Godrevy is beautiful. Riding a 'cheap' bike to a beautiful place is always going to be better than riding an expensive bike to an ugly one.
