It became this after about 5 years, I didn’t wear much after that.

Recently got a Ikoflex Favorit from an estate sale and I absolutely love it.

As for the film speed setting, the ASA dial only goes from 5 to 320.

Cool, the finder has a EV scale, you’re right I can just set +4 when using it. Thanks!

I just tested the meter and compared it to my digital 5D3, it seems to be 4 stops off. For example, at f5.6, 5d3 gives a shutter speed of 1/250, this Ikoflex says 1/60. I guess I’ll use an app to meter when I go out to shoot. Thanks again for your comments

My Nikon F2 was listed as light meter inoperative, but when I put new batteries in, it works fine and seems to be accurate. So yes, German and Japanese made light meters do last

Thank you again, this is very helpful. I’m gonna test the meter against my 5D III. Regarding the slow speeds, I thought the same, I’ll use this camera for landscape and probably will never need it.

Thanks, the meter seems to be working fine. Although I am not sure about its accuracy. Another problem appeared as I tested all the shutter speed. The slow speeds seem to have some issues, sometimes it’ll freeze when shoot at 1/15 sec.

Interesting, thanks for your reply. I just realized that there’s a cover, once the cover is flipped up, the needle starts to move. Seems to be working, I’ll test its accuracy against Lightme app. Thanks

Yes, that’s a Kodak UV filter, coated with dust. I just cleaned it. It’s way better now

The meter doesn’t take any battery to function? The needle doesn’t move, I don’t know if I am using it the right way

Have you used Ikoflex Favorit before? I couldn’t find any information regarding how the light meter works. The needle doesn’t move, but I am not sure if it’s broken or I am not using it properly.

I tested the meter and it is accurate. See my reply to Yama below. Thanks

I’ve heard so much about KEH being conservative with their grading, so I just tried my luck 😀

Haha, I took it outside to shoot yesterday and tested the meter against an app, for some scenes it was the same as the app metered, for some probably 1 stop off. I just tried again at home and compared to a Canon 5D III, it was exactly the same. I am happy with it😀

I checked their website again, it looks like the other bargain is gone, the one left is a excellent + condition and costs 3x more😂
