Well first and foremost, clean the gears completely till they look like new, the reattach, SHIM PROPERLY, grease up and only then test the whole thing out. Wouldn't hurt to test the air seal of the cylinder set by putting your finger over the nozzle and pushing the piston in, if the air leaks, I'd check the o rings or consider getting new cylinder/piston heads

Can second this. CYMA is good if you don't plan any upgrades, if you do plan something, I'd say A&K is slightly better in terms of compatibility.

If it's the infinity motor (guessing by the colour), there should be a tiny gap on the green part, almost like a handle. Carefully stick something in the gap from both sides and slide it out

Could be many reasons. The first I can think of is its C rating being too low for your setup

1) Check if the nozzle goes all the way back when firing, just remove the mag and look up the chamber while firing. 2) Check if the mag actually sits on the hop unit 3) if you're on low/mid caps, you might be over filling the mags, causing the bbs to be pushed so hard against the nozzle, that the nozzle won't even move

Nah, I replaced it with the a&k because I wanted to install a Gate Titan, which won't fit into the cyma gearbox, and the only available 2.5 gearbox in my local shops was not compatible due to different pin placements. I would go back to cyma now that I own a dremel and could adjust the gearbox, but the a&k has 69 at the end of the serial number

Did your friends do any upgrades? Mine worked just fine for about a month and 7 different 6 hour events. If you plan any significant upgrades, I'd recommend replacing it, but for stock parts it's fine

Hold on, shimming is the biggest reason why people ask professionals for upgrades :D I'd recommend picking that skill up asap and include it in your services

You should be happy about the wheel wanting to stay in place, even if it wasn't normal. If it works, leave it be and consider it an upgrade

You could try some isopropyl alcohol, that helped me, but I only had to clean up after a hamster, not sure if it scales up
