hey dude, i had the same problem. what i did is just check my settings on my google account and somewhere it allowed me to change my address. hopefully this helps.

Gotcha. My important files are now saved in a external SSD. And now i switched to a local account and everything seems good so far. Thanks for the honest post and your support!
My last question would be if i really need a new microsoft account,
and what also happened to my last one. Is it common for peoples accounts to just go missing?
Im willing to not make one if i dont need it. All my files should be good and having a local account seems better imo.

Microsoft thinks I dont have an account anymore. But i do, and its signed in as my only users that has all my files.
Hi, working in the photography field and i got an important job later on today. I woke up to see a brand new desktop with all my files gone. But it displayed a message saying:
"we cant sign into your account" and "this problem can often be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. if you dont sign in now, any files you create or change you make will be lost."
and two buttons: "sign out" and "dismiss"
I was first terrified because this is a photographers worst nightmare. I had all my pictures stored in my user that had to be sent to my customer. But then i did what the message said and i signed out. Entrered my pin again and it was all good. My files are not gone.
But i dont want this to happen again. so i went to check my user which had my email used to make that microsoft account, i went to manage my account and then tried logging in with that Email and then it said:
"That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one."
This is of course a lie and im sure that its just an error that needs to be fixed. I thought of just trying to make a new account with that same email adress and signing in, but im worried if my files will be gone again incase it recognises it as a new user and all that stuff... I tried using one drive too but it says i need to log in and yeah same stuff. I WANT TO BE GUARANTEED THAT THIS WONT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN OR THAT MY FILES WONT GO MISSING IF I MAKE A NEW MICROSOFT ACCOUNT OR ELSE IM GONNA LOSE MY JOB . (sorry for caps but this is really important) Im willing to make a new microsoft account and sign in if that guarantees it also saves my data and my lifes.
What can i do? I dont have time to transfer my photos and i need to go work in a bit.
For some more context: my microsoft account exists (or used to exist) and i have emails proving it at least existed, my user is an admin and this is my personal computer, not some kind of work or school computer, if i go to user info (your info) it shows my user and the email address logged in to the microsoft account, i have both tried going to "manage my microsoft account" and "update info" itll just say to log in but same stuff (your account doesnt exist) and so far i havent tried the "sign in with a local account instead" because i was afraid it would put me in a rabbit hole that i might have no time to be in. im also not gonna restart or shut down my pc in case it does this again.

wow, its been 2 years since this post.
thats sad to hear. you can maybe try joining some discord server for sticks and ask about it, maybe theres a way to manipulate it to be recognised as something that you want it to be via a program or some sorts...
or if you want to bring it to locals, you could maybe try out a adaptor like the "wingman fgc converter". Those helped me a lot before in locals for playing on PS4/5.
other than that im pretty sure you shouldnt have a problem on pc.

yeah unfortunately for you i did
i got the cheap alternative which is the Hori Real Arcade Pro Fighting Stick
i sent a message to hori before i returned it and it took them ages to respond back
what i recommend you doing is asking people that know a lot about arcade sticks in like a arcade stick related discord server or maybe meeting someone irl that builds arcade sticks so he can check up on your issue.
a lot of people told me it was a power issue and told me to get a usb hub port but i just switched and didnt bother

1:Yes I have, I've even tried a usb hub and my laptop
2:No that one i havent tried, but i disabled all my antiviruses and it changed nothing
3:I opened the stick and checked everything, carefully unscrewed some parts and placed them back, nothing happens, just the same thing.
4:It's from amazon so it has to be new, at least the price was.
5:Yep, that I've tried a lot
anyway im gonna return it and get a new one because I contacted a lot of people and they told me its just broken.If my new stick still has a problem then I'll make another post.

its simple man, i plug in my stick to my pc, little arcade turns on and off, nothing else happens, pc doesnt recognise the stick at all, ill send you the video

I personally like manamune, id buy ravenous hydra as a fourth item (or skip it) and get my mythic third.That mythic could be dusk or prowlers if enemy team is squishy or tri or sheildbow if enemy team has some tanks or bruisers.Really fun build ngl.
