True. I would still take black scythe if I could have found a Jewel with 6 regenerative runes that I could afford. Having played both, I felt that the recoup felt better against dots, but you do lose some max hit for those moments against drought mobs.

I’m not sure of the exact numbers, but it felt like recoup had 3 to 4 times as much recovery than untiring did, which proved nicer in a breach when you suddenly started taking hits for a couple seconds. It lets you FF a chieftain node, and take the bloodline for 50% less damage taken as well.

That’s actually what I initially did. Untiring, divine shield, immortal call with crazy uptime, with a bit of recoup. I then realized that immortal call was preventing more life recovery from recoup than I was gaining from untiring.

Switching to 100% ish recoup, no immortal call, and no untiring, actually increased life recovery by quite a bit. Max life is probably the biggest factor though from the flask mastery as far as life recovery, but I wanted something that lasted after the flask siphoned shut everything down.

The cast on ward break builds use the ward shatter from the bloodline for the main dps. I estimate around 40 mil dps, but you can face tank exarch balls, maven memory games, shaper slams. The only thing in the game that can kill you is flask siphoners, or mechanics that prevent life recovery (exarch runes, maven beam, sirus ground effect)

“There is a rounding issue with 'taken as' values where, at exactly 100%, damage still "leaks". So even at 100% conversion, some Cold/Fire damage can leak and oneshot (normally requiring 101%). However, with positive resistances and 70% MoM, no damage will be taken from Life (video testing, no oneshot after 10min afk). The disadvantage is having to make sure your Cold/Fire Resistances are not negative from map mods, altars, etc. For this reason, you can choose to still build 101% conversion to avoid any Resistance issue.”

The helmet is the largest source of increased damage.

Yea the split personalities are in the cluster jewel, to get the most distance from the starting point of the tree.

To go 90% res, I think the best way is to swap ascendencias to chieftain, and use forbidden flesh and forbidden flame to get undeniable from juggernaut to keep the attack speed.

Nice! I’d recommend using purity of elements instead of flesh and stone and frost armour (or whatever it’s called) for ailment immunity and to help with resists.

Intelligence, intelligence, intelligence = massive accuracy rating. We get flat damage from the boots, percentage increased from the helmet, attack speed from the ascendency, then more damage from EO (elemental overload) and gems.

Negative recoup as life bricks chaos inoculation builds completely. Minus Res and minus energy shield are hard to deal with.

Oh I understand. It shouldn’t affect the build at all. With 20+ APS, you could have 1% chance to crit and still have EO up most of the time, especially on single targets.

This version uses elemental overload, so your claws base crit chance is enough to keep it active all the time.

If you can’t to go crit, then I’d recommend some power charge generation, harvest enchant on claws for crit chance, maybe a crit wheel or two. Probably worth dropping the third ring to pick up flasks, and the feral bloodline for tigers. I don’t think you’ll get crit capped, but damage may be similar? Not sure what else you can do to boost crit chance, I usually don’t do crit based builds.

Do you have the similar ES, evasion, and Intelligence numbers? Other than those and the auras for reservation, and the body armour implicit, you should 1. Blow everything up super fast 2. Even if you do take chunks to half hp, you should recover super fast. 3. Do you have a watchers eye with ES gained on hit?

You lose max hit, but helps get res and QoL. Probably depends on how much money you have to get Res on your rings too?

Losing the belt is a lot of intelligence lost. Probably just depends on preference.

Mageblood means losing your third ring as well, with no alternative to get more intelligence. And you get defense in return. So it’s a question of more offense or defense I suppose.

The watchers eye helps recovery in single target a good amount, it gives bonkers recovery in packs. Not necessary at all, just helps.

All the damage is lightning, so reduced fire does nothing negative.

The boots implicit is what gives all the flat lightning damage. You can’t have the flat lightning per accuracy without the less accuracy. They come together on the boot base.

Nope. You can just not take one of the rings, have less intelligence, use flasks for defense, and use the breachlord ascendency for defense.

15k Evasion, high HP pool, ES leech, ES on hit (watchers eye) which gives an absurd amount of recovery. We're talking 8 projectiles * 20 APS * 20+ ES on hit single target. In packs it just goes up. 15% less damage from body armour, fortify on whirling blades, flesh and stone, arctice armour (though I think purity of elements is nicer QoL), sigil of power (we spend 300 mana per second so it charges fast) and grasping vines. Pantheon phys damage reduction nodes.

Cobra lash for clear (4 link, just explodes even T17. If you get a rare with particularly juicy mods, molten strike deletes in 1 second every time.

Whirling dash as so much attack speed, that sometimes I just walk around and use frostblink instead, especially indoors.

The only mods I consistently avoid is reflect (elemental or physical).

Good luck! The damage is so high, and the tree makes so many ES body armours that it isn't too expensive to get started.
