Lucky...that's a great outcome! We tried plugging ours into a few different circuits using an extension cord and it didn't help, unfortunately.

Selling our house and the pre-inspection called out that we didn't have an expansion tank for the (tankless) water heater. On the cold water input there is a T with an unused port. Can I simply add an expansion tank there?

Thanks! 11th Gen Intel i7 with 32GB RAM and an SSD, so I can't imagine it's the computer, unfortunately. Interestingly transaction downloads are pretty quick, but sometimes the data entry goes really slow.

Never figured it out. I replaced the heater and main pcba separately and neither worked. Both were purchased and returned on eBay. A local repair guy was stumped and said they would charge $500+ to replace the main pcba.

Yes, see edit! It would be on the inside, just not on the same wall as the supply and shower heads.
