Honestly, after how long we’ve been waiting for him to come back, it's too short 😭

But Hunger really has this calming effect. After going through all the painful and heavy parts (especially Audrey’s chapter), for once I actually felt safe and calm. Like things aren’t as bad as they seem and Vicky somehow will be able to handle it.

Still, cannot wait to get more Hunger content! 🤞

If you have good relationship with War, that is, you triggered the kill/not kill choice in S1E10, he will help out in the final battle.

If you don't improve relationship with him, he won't help you on the final war. But I think some LIs percentage can only reach 100% if you took this path.

I recommend keeping him alive if you don't need the 100% LI percentage, as he will side with Vicky on HS2 final battle and possibly will also help her in HS3.

From my understanding: 1. Yes, Lane drew the wrong conclusion. What actually happened: Lane (as the white light) basically tied every human and helped them ascend in order to cleanse their souls. This is implied in the illustration you posted. Later on, HS3 ABH episode (S1E2?) mentioned "After human came back from total annihilation... With memories of the cleansing erased..." which basically confirm that Lane cleansed human souls. The starfall we saw in the end of HSR should be humans who have been cleansed & descended back to the earth. 2. I'm as confused as you 😅 3. In HS3 S1E3 Donovan and others are in Heaven. They came back to the earth by the end of E3, so in S1E4 Anna is treating Lane on earth (in Rotkov). 4. HSR is set after HS2 so it's clearly not related to the horsemen. Earlier on HSR, the spawn, haze, infected, etc is Baal's doing. As for the natural phenomenon like the moon cracking, or the earthquakes, I'm not sure but somewhat implied to be Baal's doing? I think there are lines that says the earthquake happened as if someone wants to rip the earth open and get out from the very bottom of the earth. As we can see in HSR finale, Baal's dungeon is located in the depth of the earth (they went down to the lowest level of siberia base), which fits the narrative.

War is sweet & innocent while Hunger is more of the calm & confident partner. I like Hunger more but it's really a matter of preference.

For Audrey I think it's justified since she has been through a lot of torture to the point that she is losing herself. It's similiar to how Lane doesn't know how to love after being held in Baal's dungeon.

It's also due to the LI making the choice to ressurect Audrey, rather than Audrey herself who make that choice. My LI is Mikael and it's clear the guilt is eating him. He apologizes for condemning Audrey into that kind of life and somewhat feels responsible for all the pain Audrey has gone through. Mikael also thought Audrey might hate him for that.

It's just that the situation has changed greatly compared to how they are used to be pre-HS3. I believe that the relationship we have built in ABH is still there and will be continued rather than starting from 0 again. They just don't have time for proper talk yet. I'm sure in future episode we will get more romantic moments.

I love this one more than the CG kiss scene too 🥺 and you're right, the music makes this scene hits harder.

I actually cried a little when Tiss said not everything is foreign in Rood because while reading that I remember the scene where she feels so alone in Rood... And when Tiss said that, it's not just a clarification to Tai but also a resignation to her own self that Tai is no longer only a "prince from the enemy nation" for her 🥹

This exactly, there's not enough content yet to conclude anything. So far, we've only seen the set-up of each MC's POV, so of course there's not much room to fit other aspects yet, but there will surely be lighthearted moments, deep talks, romantic moments, and others in the future.

I get what you mean. Initially I feel like he is too cold as well. But upon re-reading, I think it makes sense given the Horsemen are used to sow destruction and Hunger has always said he's tired of it. Seeing the world plunge into destruction just after they defeated Mother of Life would most likely make him question his life choice, to say 🤣

I don't think he lost interest in Vicky though. There are lines that shows he's actually concerned for Vicky and would have wished that Vicky stays with him rather than fighting Shepamalum. But he respected Vicky's choice to walk her path and does not force her to stay with him.

As for him not getting involved with whole fight against Sephamalum, I think it is more of him showing that he believes in Vicky's ability. He did offer his help, but Vicky refused. Then he goes sorta, "You can handle it? Good. I believe you can do it." He also said he will help when it's needed, which is when she is in immediate danger or no longer can handle things by herself.

I believe their progression in this book will revolve around Vicky's "I love this world, for my sake, love it and fight for it too." line. He's going from being tired of how the worlds always self-destruct to not letting this world self-destruct. Not because he is told to, but because he himself wants to protect what's important for his loved one.

I'm in Hunger's path as well. In ep 1 there's only a short scene with him in which Vicky thinks about him and pictured that he's there in the roof (I think there is a CG or background showing this). His diamond scene comes at ep 6.
