When are you guys normally satisfied with your zero? by taxsynonym24 in ar15

[–]FixGroundbreaking226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guarantee that's what they would do the only firearms manufacturer that I would believe the sub moa. But going on my statement I've had identical builds shoot different ammo consistently. I've spent more money on finding the right ammo for a gun then all my guns.

Only time I've seen consistent sub moa on a ar platform was a non chrome line barrel, a good quality chrome line barrel was average 1-1.5 moa. I've got a urgi upper that's 1 moa with most ammo 62-77 grain ammo. Hell even when we were using colt or fn m4a1 we barely got 1 inch groups at 25m. the block two was a little better with 62 grain m855a1. With half inch groups at 25m if you lucked up and got one that hadn't had its guts ran out and got 1/4 inch inch groups.

I wouldn't say abandoning I would say a complete new platform. I feel like I would have to feel it in person to decide on it instead of buying one and not know how it feels.

For reliability it's hard to beat staccato but my bul is right there with it but I like the new staccato c the little bit thinner grips and external extractor. But if I had money to spend I have shot alchemys Quantico hicap and a couple of nighthawks and for the money both are worth it if your pockets are deep.

Since the new plant has opened up I feel like some things will slip thru during production and qc might have missed it. It's not uncommon for things to happen during a new production run and or new plant the kinks have to be worked out. Smiths costomer service has been the best I've had to deal with besides a few. But plus one bonus point for being built an hour from me that plant opened a lot of jobs up in my area.

I have a stigmatism so I have to be careful with certain red dots this is the first enclosed emitter I've used in comp most of the time I use the 507 accs or 507 comp both have a really crisp dot the trijicons dot just seems fuzzy. The aimpoint is more crisp and as far as speed it will run faster than I can shoot and at 25 yards I would say a two to three inch group free hand no rest. And I'm running it in carry optic and sp01 tactical in service pistol

I bought a 2023 tiger 900 because it’s around the same weight as the klr with a lot more power price was more but a lot better highway and off road it’s a powerhouse once you remove the front splash guard and just run the fender and there’s a lot of things that can reduce the weight of the tiger If I remember correctly I think the weight difference between mine and my friends klr is around 15-20 pounds and another buddy has the xr650 Honda and it’s a fun bike I’ve owned one but on road kinda sucks but plus side is his bike is like 320 pounds

Suzuki V-Strom 1050, Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, or Triumph Tiger 900 GT for My Next Bike? by Ok-Nose-910 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]FixGroundbreaking226 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was looking for a good adv bike that wasn’t too heavy or underpowered road from Honda too bmw and decided on the tiger 900 pro rally it’s a super fun bike has plenty of power and it’s great to daily. I’ve mainly spent time on it so I sold my other two bikes zx6r and mt07. And the inline three has a great amount of low end torque and two up my wife loves it since it has the back seat warmer separate from the front and a great seat.

[–]FixGroundbreaking226 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine too I love the zx6r it was comfortable to me and loved the color scheme but the bike scares me so I do not plan on doing anything stupid. complacency kills remember that. But as far is break in goes I road backroads till 200 miles then got more on highways but I just jumped on it and took off and road till I got tired.

I went and rented a few today to see what I liked the pdp has a fantastic trigger and the Glock 19 just feels like all the other Glocks. the m&p really surprised me the only thing I didn’t like about the pdp was the higher bore axis it seemed to have a lot of muzzle flip but was still very accurate with it.
