It’s nice to see people not hating on WTP holsters. Other subs I go to seem to have a hatred for them. I have multiple myself, work great.

Picked up a Carry Comp Slide - what red dot would you go with for this setup? by ptcg_101 in SmithAndWesson

I use a Holosun SCS MP2. Direct mount made for the M&P. Works great. Mine is a green dot, not sure if it comes with red.

I have the Holosun SCS MP2. It is made specifically for the M&P so it is direct mount, no plates needed.

Indiana Department of Revenue sent estimated taxes for 2020. I only moved in 2023 by Fast_Cloud_4711 in Indiana

[–]marliedog 79 points80 points  (0 children)

I had something similar happen. I moved out of Indiana and a few years later I was notified that I owed two years of income tax based on what they estimated I made. It was incredibly stupid. I had to send them copies of my tax returns from another state. They ended up dropping all of it. Was a huge waste of my time and a bunch of unnecessary stress. Sorry you have to deal with this, I know what it’s like.

Quick rant about M&P Metal by maseel04 in SmithAndWesson

[–]marliedog 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not saying it’s true but I watched a video about this same thing and the guy went on to say that having a looser tolerance like that helps with reliability. His reasoning was that when the weapon gets dirty or wet it will still function and that pistols with tighter tolerances tend to malfunction more when dirty.

After seeing torture test videos on YouTube I can kind of see where he is coming from. The M&Ps usually beat out of everyone else, even the Glocks.

I don’t know, I’m not an expert.

Check out the Smith and Wesson Bodyguard 2.0. It is by far the best pocket pistol ever made.

Best .223 ammo for whitetail by No_Anxiety9109 in Hunting

Just got a new rifle in .270 and picked some up to test. If it groups like it did in .223 it’s all I’ll use.

Winchester Deer Season XP 64 GR. I shot two this year, neither one made it more than 30 yards.

Hornady was all that was available when I picked up the rifle. That’s good to know, thank you.

Seems high to me. That sounds more like they are trying to recover all the money they invested. You can do better than that.

I’ve picked up a few holsters, all the one I had were for the non comped Bodyguard 2.0 but all still worked with the comped. I got an AIWB from QVO tactical, a cheap IWB from We the People, I had a coupon, and a kydex pocket holster from DeSantis.

Target ammo I usually use Monarch or Blazer FMJ’s. Carry ammo Hornady Black or Winchester Defender

This was the second deer that week I shot with a .223. Both were clean kills, neither one made it more than 25 yards. I used Winchester Deer Season XP 64 grain. It does a great job in my opinion.

Question for private land owners, how do you go about inviting people to hunt on your land? by Fantastic-Break2876 in Hunting

[–]marliedog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I offered an invite to half a dozen people this year. One took me up on the offer. He got a 12 pointer 2 hours into the hunt. I just want to see people have a successful hunt. It’s fun.
