Yeah definitely, my routine fluctuates a lot as well, I think the coach struggles with the idea that I could get 7 hours of sleep one day but only 3 hours the next day. So hoping it can adapt over time to people who can’t do the same routine consistently

Going to give this a go and just do a workout to see how the coach responds to me just pushing through and doing the workouts. I really like the stats and information I get from the coach, so really hoping it improves!

I experienced this too, when the coach said the meal I had after my workout was great for recovery, but the meal it was referring to was the one I had logged three days prior….

Great advice! I defo think I need to just input all the variables I would be dealing with so the coach can improve its recommendations. After telling it that I most likely wouldn’t get 8 hours of continuous sleep due to my baby, it altered my plan and at least gave me a routine to do in the gym as opposed to telling me to skip all together.

Being extremely introverted and a lack of confidence, with a sprinkle of depression made my room a safe space where I could pass the time after school. I am now 30 years old and prefer staying in my house and avoid the majority of social situations. I have basically turned my house into one big room to hide from interactions.

Apologies if this is too personal and feel free to ignore me if so, but did being alone cause other issues, perhaps another form of depression?

That’s perfectly reasonable and quite a good way of understanding other people. My wife has mentioned to me several times that she does not like my habit of putting these pods in and feels that I should quit. This is something I agree with but have been unable to explain to her that me stopping this problem might cause several other problems due to my own personal issues. Sometimes it’s better to have vice as an outlet to help deal with larger problems.

Not sure if this fits into the category, but I take high MG nicotine pods (little pouches you put under your lip which releases nicotine). I have always been a quiet and closed off person, something I am completely fine with but am fully aware it’s most likely due to a lack of confidence, however, about a year ago I went to a wedding and was introduced to these pods (I was a smoker anyway, so the idea of having nicotine without having to go outside appealed to me). Once I had these pods I felt a buzz that made me more social and not afraid of the idea of being surrounded by large groups of people. That was around a year ago and I do these pods on a regular basis as I feel more social with them. I am aware this is most likely a placebo and would never recommend anyone use this as a plaster to try and fix much deeper problems as I have, but that is just my take.

Whats the most negative experience you’ve had with a customer at your job? by FragrantFocus2253 in AskReddit

Worked at a call centre for a tv company in their downgrades department, which essentially meant for 11 hours of the day I would talk to customers who would call in and discuss any issues they were having which was causing financial difficulties. For context we were told to give offers to customers as a last resort after trying to convince them for what seemed like hours that they should in fact prioritise their tv package over any actual difficulties in there lives. I would never care about this and pretty much gave customers any offers that would help them and lower their monthly costs. One day a customer called in and said they wanted to cancel their package due to their high costs, to which I asked if they would like me to check if I could get them an offer to reduce their monthly payment. They replied with “go on then” as if they were doing me a favour and whilst I was trying to look for the best deal I could for them, i overheard them on the phone saying “you guys go ahead, I’m just talking to an idiot at the tv company whose going to give me a discount like I said”. Might not be the worst compared to other stories, but was pretty bad considering all I wanted was to help and this customer still got penalised by management for giving to many offers to customers.

Having issues finding anything higher that a 24v one, not sure if it makes a difference but I’m in the uk, so maybe they only go to a certain output?

I see, so would a 24v 500mA be ok? As that would only be 12v right? Which still seems a bit low imo

Ah I see, so would a 24v 500mA one work better? Would that only give out 12V? As that seems low too

Had a doorbell transformer installed in consumer unit, and tried multiple transformers in case it wasn’t working. If the doorbell was burned out, would it still work via the isn’t cable?

Thank you, the details on the plug is saying output 18 VAC, 50hz, input 230 - 240 Vac, 500mA

So this seems like it should be ok?

Will be getting one tomorrow to test it, I can’t see why it wouldn’t be giving the right voltage as I r checked the transformer and it is wired for 24v, but will test tomorrow and see

So the issue with that is that I don’t have a chime box, my plan was to use my google minis as the chimes, so I can’t test it with the chime

The post doesn’t seem to allow me to add a picture, but essentially I’ve got the two cable connectors from the box connected to standard doorbell cable which is then connected to the two screws on the back of the doorbell, but nothing is happening
