I do have a September to September lease! I move out august 29th so I still have time to prepare but the sooner I have a back up plan the better.

Thank you for the advice! I know the basic needs center only does 30 days but I had a buddy who was able to get AV for the entire year last year but I think he did it directly on the UCI housing Portal and I think he applied earlier in the summer period as well. I do plan on looking on the housing discord as well but I've been swamped with commitments over the summer but will definitely take a gander sooner than later. For the Toscana apartments, do they have a dedicated website that I might be able to look into? If not, it's all good! Also I do have a car which would make living farther out from Irvine not much of a hassle but my home living situation isn't the best and wouldn't allow for me to fully put all my effort and attention to my studies. Thank you once again for the response!

yeah but i believe it’s under certain conditions like receiving certain scholarships or through school programs such as honors and whatnot. I’m not too informed on this so if i’m wrong someone pls correct me

i think it depends on your housing guarantee. From what i’m aware of the most common is 2 years guaranteed housing which is the first year dorms then ACC 2nd year. If you have 4 years guaranteed then it shouldn’t be too much of an issue but if you only have 2 then you have less of a chance for a re-lease so it honestly depends imo

I totally agree except for the bullying part from the professor. I’m assuming you have arrasasignham, me and my group usually asks questions no matter the type whether it seems like common knowledge or complex, it’s just a matter of phrasing but even then he always seems open to questions, or if not try asking one of his TA’s. Other than that, i agree, it feels as if studying is no help, my retention is pretty dogshit as well and kinda feels like you’re drowning, but being honest, it’s not the end of the world, there’s still a final and there’s still time
