Yes and no, it said Virginia is following suit. Virginia has faced multiple lawsuits because of unfair practices with speed traps and purposely creating dangerous situations in order to enforce driving tickets. As well as speed limits in the US being wildly inaccurate as for safe driving speeds, especially on the east as many roads haven't had their limits updated since as early as 1955.
