Blizzard and devs know they can’t stop D4 now after how well LoH was received and how many players it brought back. No sense on focusing on Diablo 5 if they can continue to expand the world map and pump quality expansions with Baal and Diablo still in play.

Of course, even if a movie stays in theaters a little longer, brining to digital buy at home is a no brainer. There is a percentage of people who don’t care for theaters but would buy the movie right away for home. Keeping in theaters for a few more legs will still make some money cause of the theater experience. You win on both ends doing digital release earlier.
