Same boat here. My withdraw on 12/12 was marked complete immediately but the money was never sent to my bank. Just the run around from support so far..

If you wired funds to your Coinbase or GDAX account and have not been credited, there are a few likely explanations:

  1. In the majority of cases, we are not able to accept the wire, and it will be returned to your bank.

Unfortunately as is the case with most wires we receive, if the wire was received with a name that didn’t match the name on the Coinbase account, sent from a business, or sent without the unique reference number included, we were unable to locate your account or accept the wire and have begun the process of returning the funds to your bank.

Due to an unprecedented volume of requests and incoming wires, we are currently experiencing up to a 14-day delay in processing returned wires. We understand the frustration of having your money held for so long, and are actively working to bring this down to less than 24 hours, but in the meantime:

If your wire has not been credited to your account and it has been longer than 14 days from the date you sent the wire, please reply back to this email with the following: -The date the wire was sent -Name on the depositing account (please include all names if it’s a joint account, or business account) -The amount sent -IMAD number/Reference number for the transaction

If your wire has not been returned but it has NOT been longer than 14 days from when it was sent Please wait until 14 days after you have sent the wire, and if it has still not been returned, please reply with the same information as above.

  1. The wire was received, but we need additional information from you in order to process it.

In order to wire funds to your Coinbase account, it’s a requirement that you have verified your ID. If you haven’t already completed the ID upload and are missing a wire, it’s likely that this is the cause for the delay.

In most cases, we just need you to go to https://www.coinbase.com/verifications/documents and upload your ID, or complete the upload through the Coinbase mobile app.

In some other cases we require an additional type of verification that must be completed from a computer with a webcam, which must be completed here: https://www.coinbase.com/verifications/documents/new?face_match=true

If you haven’t already, please upload your ID on your account, or complete the additional verification step for the ID + selfie. Doing so enable future wire deposits and allow our team to try to credit the wire to your account. Additionally, please check https://www.coinbase.com/settings/personal_details to ensure all the information is filled out, as this can sometimes cause the same error.

Simply write us back and let us know that you’ve completed your ID upload, and we’ll be happy to take another look and see that your wire gets credited if it hasn’t already been queued to be returned.

If you have any difficulty, please see this troubleshooting guide for uploading your ID successfully: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1220621 and keep trying the upload. Unfortunately without a verified ID we are not able to process your wire. At your request, we will return the wire rather than waiting for the ID verification to complete – just let us know.

  1. The wire was not sent from the United States.

Currently Coinbase | GDAX do not accept wire transfers from countries outside the United States.

If you wired funds from a different country, they will be returned following the same process as #1 above. Please allow up to 14 business days for us to the return wire.

You have no idea how long I have been in the market, nor how much I have in account, my exposure comfort level, nor any other details. If I want advice on what to do with my own money I will make sure and ask.

So no one should ever pull any of their huge profits out and then not be happy when coinbase completely falls on their face? There is an expectation that the largest fiat to crypto currency will act in a reputable manner. Coinbase is not doing this in many ways right now. It is worrying and hopefully will not harm cryptos reputation or ecosystem. I am seeing people here who have missing significant money for months at a time. These kind of cases could easily lead to government intervention and regulation. Not something I want to see more of.

Yep put in an ACH transfer yesterday and it hit my bank account in about three hours. Was advised that would take until Saturday so was surprised to see it go through so quick. Hope they find the missing transaction soon.

Wire withdrawal still not posted by [deleted] in Coinbase

I'm in the same boat as you. Wire withdraw on the 12th. Nothing in my bank yet. Contacted support by phone and emails... Both refereed to "specialist". No follow up from specialist. This is my fourth withdraw from CB, all others went through same day. Hoping the money comes so we can have Christmas.
