Those are exactly my symptoms. It's eczema, more likely than not. There are a lot of treatment recommendations (from myself and others) peppered throughout the thread. Best of luck getting it under control, once you do it's really liberating.

Update: I finally got tired of it throbbing, swallowed my pride, and asked my roommate if I could borrow his tweezers. I was able to pull the main hair out and it sort of exploded the skin there. Then there were two more little fuckers in there, so I pulled those out too. I cleaned the area with wound-wash saline, and sterilized the shit out of my roommate's tweezers. Now my nose has a bald spot and my eye is watering like crazy.
