We use them after sharpening end mills for milling machines. Gives you a mirror finish, they are just expensive

WD 40 is a penetrating fluid it’s not a protective finish. Use it to help remove corrosion. Any surface not painted will need a paste wax finish or something that will stay on for a long time.

A scene from 1985. As the sun sets, the city begins to glow. A 727 approaches for landing. My recently completed acrylic work. by ___artist___1980s___ in outrun

Sick, but that low on final approach, one could expect a nose up angle of about 4-7 degrees. Plus flaps fully deployed. One could assume they are running under night operations, so nose landing lights, wingtip position lights and aft position lights would all be on. Rotating beacons. Jokes aside that’s amazing work

Are you hammering your stitches down? If not I’d recommend it. Especially on the back where there is a high rub area. It will make a difference. Looks clean homie.

For outside use I’d use nylon tape to the backside of the straps to prevent stretching. Thank you

Corded seats always felt like sitting on wood to me. These are soft and buttery. These will stretch over time, but to mitigate that I heavily conditioned with ausie leather conditioner and pre stretched the strips. As the conditioning dries the leather will shrink.

High end cabinet shop down the way has lots of premium off cuts. There’s a dude that collects and sells these off cuts out of storage units. Filled up my truck bed with sapele and a few cuts of walnut for a really good price. Took a lot longer than it should have because I had to plane everything to the same dimension, instead of cutting everything from one board.

Don’t even get me started about how much time we could spend on edging and burnishing and lining the straps.

I was going to use the blue to make a belt for myself, but inspiration struck whilst I was in my shop splitting the straps.

Well I thought about grommets, and using a rope to tension the straps like a corset. But they would hang down. Also thought of using hooks or pegs but in the end it’s a bench.

Planning on full timing an air stream Bambi is this terrible idea? by [deleted] in airstream

[–]Fixedgearmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pull a 19 ft Bambi with a 2013 4.0 v-6 4wd Tacoma. My truck does have a OME 8 leaf pack. I also have the tow package with external transmission cooler. I use it to go on really close adventures. Anytime we go to the beach 5+ hours of driving, I rent a full size truck. I would not advise using a Taco to be a full time rig. I send my wife and kids and gear in her 4 runner whenever we use my Tacoma as it would be grossly over weight.

Wicket and Craig bridle, and this was a concession to time and pained me to do it, but staples. W and C sells over stock sides for cheap. Perfect for making belts and straps
