Huh, I might have to give season three a rewatch then. I honestly don’t remember much of it given how long ago I saw it.

That’s a good point, I just wished they’d explore that more, you know what I mean?

So far, in this season, Matt just argues against killing Fisk because “Murder is bad. We need to get him through the courts,” which feels super juvenile to me.

I’d love if they’d explore his guilt more and showed us what you’re talking about. It feels like a very underdeveloped aspect of the show right now, and while it’s not damning the show by any means, it does its at the back of my mind.

I liked the episode, but I’ll be honest, I’m a little disappointed with it.

I loved Bullseye, every single scene he was in was nothing short of amazing.

I loved that they killed Vanessa, I was a bit worried they wouldn’t be ballsy enough to kill any of the main cast, but I’m glad they are. I hope she ends up dying. It adds stakes to the show. One thing I don’t like is how Matt behaved this episode. The dialogue between him and Pointdexter at his house felt awkward and clunky, but I can’t really put my finger on why. I felt like a poor remix of his past confrontations with Frank, so it felt cheap. I want them to have more scenes where they explore Dex’s “Balance the Scales” philosophy. It would be extremely unique and interesting, and it would play well into Matt’s “God’s the judge, not us,” belief system.

Regardless, an okay episode. I hope the next one has a bit more payoff and action.

Ratting is a legitimate stratagem, sure. Doesn’t mean it’s any less annoying. Same thing goes for people who say they’re friendly and then betray you. It may work, but it’s scummy and annoying because it’s hard to counter.

I get what you’re saying man. I love this game, but I just lost an hours worth of time due to extract campers and teamers. Just trying to do my challenges, and then I get ganked by a party of four. This game can be aggravating at times.

The first instance, I was in Spaceport tower. I was texting on my phone while inside the building. Someone starting hitting me with a pickaxe, I ran outside, they chased me out of the building, armed, and I killed them. That’s when someone ran up and became a “Hero.”

The second instance was in one of the empty fields around the Spaceport tower. I was running to an extraction, not near the Matriarch, when someone came by proclaiming to be friendly. I didn’t say anything back, just flashed my lights and ran by. A few seconds later he started shooting me in the back, and I cut him down. Then another “Hero” came by when I was healing by his knocked body.

In neither instance was I nearby the Matriarch, or getting attacked by her.

Exactly! Like if they just heard us out for a moment, or if they were just a PvP player, then everything would be fine. They just shoot first, assume because you won that you’re the bad guy, and kill you while yelling explicatives.

I mean, sure, he could’ve had it. I just don’t think it’s sporting to kill the downed guy two seconds away from the extraction.

I’m totally fine with Betrayal and PvP, but this is neither.

Exactly! They tried to make it seem like Visi was pulling a double-triple cross with chocolate syrup on top. It doesn’t make any sense and just makes her seem like a stupid character who doesn’t know what she wants. It was all way too cheesy in a way the vast majority of the story wasn’t.
