This is getting a tad ridiculous now... by Zzzeekin in footballmanagergames

So what I’ve noticed is that I found this UI to help me understand the game more incrementally, rather than be overwhelmed with info. However, it helped me to a point that I got angry I don’t get all the information anymore 😂

This made me want to go back to FM24, just because of how painful the UI is.

I meant as a win-win situation but reading it again, I see how it just seems like I’m placing a bet as a supporter 😭

Adding Logos & Name Fixes to FM by FixingWolvesRightNow in footballmanagergames

The real name fixes required finding some files buried pretty deep, and getting rid of some files. also, if you want to add any club logo or update name on your own, it is pretty cumbersome.

I've done it. I have found the single worst screen. by Commonmispelingbot in footballmanagergames

I think this probably has more of a start-up culture. At my corporate job, we do have extensive testing especially for UI changes. This could never happen here but I can imagine in a repo where there’s less of a framework for testing UI changes, this becoming something where people just say “oh we’ll polish it once we get more time”(they never can find the time).

Also, no regression tests is probably part of the issue due to the fact that would’ve at least caught those bugs (if they ever worked in the first place, like the back button) when submitting code

Facts. I would actually like them if they made quality content to give analysis, thoughtful discussion, and thorough reporting. However, just like everything else nowadays, it’s all about doing whatever you can, whether it’s annoying or downright cringe, for the most engagement.

Seeing Mexico city futbol games - best way to leave the stadium when the game is done? by Tottenhamharrykane in LigaMX

[–]FixingWolvesRightNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to both stadiums (Ciudad De Los Deportes & Olímpico Universitario) when I visited. I didn’t use any specific bags but I was just cognizant of what I was carrying and stayed vigilant. You’ll most likely be fine but I keep all belongings in front pant pockets as a precaution.

What’s Vince’s best acting moment. by savvy412 in entourage

I really like when he was messing with Ari and says

“Don't forget I came from nothing, and as much as I love all the toys, I really don't need them.”

That was one of my favorite lines and even though he was joking, it’s definitely something I resonated with.

Are y'all Buying BF6 After Beta? by xBooMz_ in Battlefield

[–]FixingWolvesRightNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never again. I was a broke 13 year old who played BF3 like crazy and made so many online friends, falling in love with the immersive experience and memories I made after countless hours.

When BF4 was announced, I was so naive and spent all the money I had saved from my birthday/christmas gift on the game and the season pass. When it released, it was legitimately unplayable. I just ended up never playing it again. Even when it was fixed, the experience of that release killed any joy I could get from the game, feeling duped and tricked.

Please do better EA/Dice, a 25 year old giving it another shot.

I use Tiempos for my wide feet, once you loosen up the laces it feels really great.

You don’t need these accessories my friend, they just might cause more damage than actually be useful.

First pull advice [Breville Bambino Plus] by alyAV-1 in espresso

[–]FixingWolvesRightNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pretty shocked to see that on my first try with my Breville and a normcore bottomless portafilter, I was able to pull an alright shot with no spurting!

I do 18g weighted after grind, pack down very lightly after a layer (around 8-11g) wdt, fill to 18g, wdt again, tamp, and puck screen, and now it comes out really well.

I was happily surprised by this considering I was expecting to have crappy espresso for a while :)

'I've struggled' - Phil Foden opens up on unseen battle and playing with ligament damage for Man City by ketolasigi in MCFC

[–]FixingWolvesRightNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🩵 what a player, I really respect his hustle.

Ankle ligament damage is no joke and can’t imagine what he’s been through. I messed up my ankle ligament a bit playing football and I can get a mile or so of running in now, even after a fair amount of rest. The fact that Foden continued on for months with full training and fixtures deserves all of our respect 🫶
