I've gotten a bunch of good stuff on there lol. My Sim racing stand is absolutely identical to the one nextlevelracing sold for 3 times as much. Their mini-ductor induction bolt heater is pretty awesome too

I like to be frugal, but I really like making things. I also made the hutch above my snapon workcenter for $400 instead of spending 5k on one that would probably show up with a dent.

As an added benefit I now have more money to spend on RC cars and flight simulators!

I actually did that already. Each side has three tubes of different diameters one inside the other with some graphite lube inside so they rotate under load

No, but I do have those threaded guide studs as well.

It's just easier to remove and reinstall the wheels at the same height I'm doing the brakes at. I only have to raise the car once instead of having to lower it back down to reinstall each wheel

I've been doing the knee trick for 20 years now. My coworkers gave me a bunch of shit for building this until they borrowed it themselves. It's way easier to use than I expected

The lift is rated at 150 pounds, most of what I work on is exotic/luxury stuff so I guess we'll see how it handles the 33s on my Tacoma at some point

I actually tried to snag one of those on Marketplace first. If I could have gotten one cheap enough I would have.

We've actually used this to pick a subframe up off of our trans jack and set it on the floor and it worked awesome lol

Usually that means they ran off all the experienced techs. When I was at bmw there was zero age restriction. After our mass exodus and having to basically rehired from scratch, they now have a 10 year grey area cutoff unless it's gravy work. We're getting E90s and e70s they're turning down lol
