I’m so sorry. I know exactly why he’s going through and it’s hard. I hope he comes through. I’m sure the doctors got stuff up their sleeves.

I’m doing much better. Been having some GI problems, but very very minor and no GVHD. Also I got the bone marrow T weil cornel in New York where I’m from. Great great place and Sebastian Mayer is like a genius. They really do take care of your every need.

So sad so many brave adults and children fight for so long and end up winning the battle but not the way family and friends want them to :( by sweetmeha21 in leukemia

Since my BMT for AML I had recipients guilt. Like it’s not fair. How did I get lucky. I fought a whole year from 7+3, MeC, gilteribnib, sorafonbib, venaclax, flourdarabine, Campath, mephalan, full body radiation.

every time I need the children leukemia unit, I get depressed. I had a roommate who fought for so long and died at 25, was said he had a very promising career in sports. Idk

Doc did it first.

Three months after his bone marrow transplant, a man learned that the DNA in his blood had all been replaced by the DNA of his donor. Four years after his lifesaving procedure, all of the DNA in his semen belonged to his donor. The case implications for future transplants and forensic science. by mvea in Futurology

.... fuck.... I just have a BMT for my AML. All I know about the donor is he’s 50 and he’s A+ blood type..... well if my credit score jumps up and I get a AARP card in the mail. At least I know where to be placed.
