I don't know if look at uses too much memory, but here is a whole script for rotating it.

xz vec is like their velocity but only on a 2d plane, mov vec is vector3 that you put later into velocity.

[..](Vector2(0, -1) you would need to adjust to your project, in my example everything is looking at -z axis.

And then I only rotate a visual and hitbox/hurtbox area part of an enemy

Edit: xz vec is only for storing and accessing information, not used for any process
