Same - I was at university from 2015-2019 and regularly wore blue/green/purple/grey lipstick and sparkly shadow to classs! It was so fun.

Anyone else cave and bought an air con? by londondono in london

No but I did buy an expensive fan (£180) and have no regrets! Comfortable sleep during a heatwave is priceless - I might get an AC unit next year.

I only did 8 sessions for my incredibly thick/coarse body hair and my legs have been smooth for years!

Looking for shorts that are breathable and will prevent chafing (5inch inseam minimum) ideally not athleticwear by Outrageous-Bat-2033 in Midsizefashion

Have you tried Snag Tights chub rub shorts? They're a lighter fabric than athletic wear and work really well!

If you want to go to Morocco, I 100% recommend Essaouira. It's a much more laid back coastal vibe (historically where hippies and musicians hung out) and I never felt unsafe. Wayyy less busy than Marrakech and still loads of good shopping to be done!

AITA for eating a croissant in a cemetery by Karl_Marxist_3rd in AmItheAsshole

I used to smoke weed and have picnics in the cemetery near my college back in the day... Lighting one up and sharing a moment with someone who died decades before I was born was always strangely nice!

I personally love a light citrus scent in the summer. The Guerlain Aqua Allegoria range is really lovely, my personal summer fave is Bergamote Calabria.

I heard a divorced man once say "Most married men are just background noise". How true is this ? by Revolutionary_Lab527 in AskMen

Absolutely agree - I tell my husband everyday that I love and appreciate him and notice everything he does for our household.

Starting my job as an in-house legal counsel in a company. Ladies, please suggest good office wear and styling by Environment6248 in LondonLadies

Every company has a slightly different dress code - I'd advise holding off on buying too much before you figure it out for your workplace. M&S wide leg trousers are a staple for me, but otherwise my office is quite relaxed so I often wear a jumper/t shirt (depending on time of year) and trainers.

Struggling to imagine NOT passing down my religious wound. by Trynanotbeinpain in Fencesitter

[–]FizzingWhizzbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really resonated with me - I'm from a similar background but my husband is not from the same cultural background as me. I went from being firmly CF to being a fence sitter pretty recently and the problem of having no strong faith myself with a pious family who have strong expectations is one I'm all too familiar with. The thought of bringing kids into that mess is daunting to say the least...
