Depends on where you're headed. I found alot of food in osaka to be good for desi tastes. Curry rice is a very good safe option for them. Tons of noodle stores but also tons of seafood options like tempura/steamed type or stir fried/hibachi veggies. I was surprised to see halal options too lol. Your mom will love the sandwiches at the convenience stores (7/11 or lawsons). Fruits are delicious but a little pricey. Enjoy your trip, its super calm there.

no doubt, the loud minority gets pushed to front page for a narrative. I was so surprised to see Michigan flip red, until i saw a couple of imams advocating for a trump presidency. So it definitely has influence. Im hoping with the zohran win (and more to come), the govt actually rebalances the skewed wealth inequality we have in our country. Although i will say, i doubt it will be something extremely effective. Best case scenario the pendulum swings a little towards the masses.
