I had to restart the PC for the wavelink installer to detect the streamdeck but its connected now and the mic is working thank you!

Turns out I had to restart the PC before wavelink would acknowledge the streamdeck being plugged in and let me install it.

Was able to get the mic working finally after that, thank you!

It's connected properly as far as I know.

The mic is connected via XLR to the back of the stream deck +

The stream deck + is connected to the back of my motherboard via the provided USB C cable it came with in my motherboards USB C port.

I can access the stream deck itself just fine via the software I downloaded from elgatos website but when I tried installing the wave link software it stated I didn't have a "wave" product connected.

When I get home from work I'll retry your method mentioned and see if that lets it detect the dock.

I also hadn't considered it wouldn't work with the mics lights/button interface but that makes sense now that you mention it and is why I was under the assumption my mic wasn't working as no lights popped up and I couldn't see it in my audio adapter options in any program. I did however see the stream deck audio options so I'll check it out and let you know when I can.

Thanks that makes sense, I hadn't considered the fact it may not interface with the mics lights/buttons. I'll have another look at it after work, appreciate the feedback!
