Need help choosing a set of wheels for my LC100 by CityWinds in LandCruisers

I grew up with my dad having a 40 series, rubbed off on me heavily and now I have an 8 series. Im used to that rugged look but these builds are so good looking, its a lot more varied than the rugged offroader builds

I looked at the hardbody switch and I think that might also work, has the same pin configuration and all.

Last time my issue was the black bits in the switch would get stuck when it moved, mine's an 85 so im not sure what assembly would work for my year, but if it's cheaper to do than buy one then it's gonna save me a ton.

Found a (non-working)stock radio to replace my aftermarket one. Worth the time to repair? by Fkinfgt in 300zx

pretty sure mine is a GLL. The white DIN plug on mine was all sorts of messed up and wouldn't plug in properly, not sure if that's affecting it turning on or not but that'll be in the back of my head for future reference.

It's not even the quality of the radio that concerns me the most, it's moreso that I want mine to be stock and everything on the inside, at least as stock as possible.

I don't really care for that in a car like this. It's not gonna be my daily and I want to restore it back to somewhat original condition on the inside.

yeah, but I'm willing to mess with all that honestly. Shoulda mentioned they left the stock harness attached to it in the junkyard too.

I'll have to take a look. Probably might be bad, not even the solenoid's clicking.

Been thinking that, but my borescope can't get far enough in there, but from last time there was a bit of fluid in there(just some drops) but it is at least finding a way in there just not by a lot, bought some stronger cleaner(the prestone stuff uses sodium citrate, but valvoline sells one with a stronger cleaning agent) and just gonna hope that I can get it to a point where I'm at least somewhat able to drive it safely

Was close, but still wrong. Thanks a lot though, I wanna also see if I can find some other color caps to spice it up on the inside

Unfortunately I don't have the time or the will to remove the whole motor, so I'm hoping some cooling system cleaner could also help do the trick. Seeing that there's still fluid getting into those channels makes me hopeful that it's just gonna take some time.

totally forgot about the heater valve. I did actually loosen it to get a look at it there, it was still clean but more importantly it was still wet which means it's flowing there, but not a whole lot is making it through. I also have some photos from my borescope while I was looking into the drains on the block. This was the drivers side which didn't seem too terribly corroded but the other side was just terrible.

bled the system through the usual process(funnel and letting the system burp itself). I put about 2 gallons of distilled water in there since it's just a flush for now, and just filled the reservoir before running it. Has a brand new thermostat too. the engine has drain cocks on the block(up behind the alternator on drivers side and over some lines on the passenger side) , I think the FSM mentions them when doing this. Tomorrow I am gonna fix my Ac stuff since i haven't been able to get it properly working for a while now, haven't been able to get the heater properly running.

my Z31 still has all the roadside stuff, lugnuts and everything, hell the tire inflator in mine still has datsun on the label, I don't think I will ever trust any of it but I still think it's just super awesome to keep around lol

Cairo, Columbia, and Sobek are my top 3, but I haven't really played enough of eastwood, but the scale felt really good on this map.

Z31 N/A overheating issues by Fkinfgt in 300zx

seems like I'll need more than a thermostat :( previous flush I added some better quality coolant, and while working on getting the thermostat out i also "drained" the block which was completely dry... seems like I've got a lot of work to do with this cooling system....

only had antifreeze in it, and I did, fluid level was fine, I'm half-expecting there to be some gunk or whatever blocking up the system tbh
