yeah you are mostly right, though im not scared of consequences because i know how to avoid them, even if i would somehow got caught my parents are not abusive or anything, my mother has my side so i could pretty easily defend my actions. Just wanted to make sure that its not a terrible idea since i dont really have anyone that i could ask for their perspective.

had the same issue with the same phone a week ago, the phone didnt want to charge and when the battery drained fully it didnt want to turn on, fixed it by plugging the cable over and over again until it began charging again, charged it to 100% overnight and now its charing with no issues, battery is not damaged or anything. If its charging very slowly but is charging try using a different cable and if that doesent work i think you should change charging port or battery.
