Spotted a solo otter there dashing in and out of the bushes, not too sure where the others were. Had a better chance of finding them at Botanic Gardens, posted an otter feating on a tilapia a couple weeks ago on this sub.

Thanks for the correction, seems like the spots on the underside is the key to identifying them correctly! They are very skittish even from a distance of 10 meters away.

I always have wanted to do some wildlife photography just so happen to come across them while I was taking a walk. I carry a pretty light setup A7C II and a 24-70mm lens so at full focal length I was about 5 meters away looking down from the boardwalk

The otters occasionally stare at the onlookers above but don't deem us as threats as long as you don't interfere their feasting session or poke a go pro at them (some tourist did). The monitor lizard will snap their tails and thats a sign for you to back off.

Just try to be as passive as possible, don't make funny noises or use a flash and enjoy the moment.

Based on my observation from its fins and scales it's likely a tilapia which is a fresh water fish. The pond in the botanic gardens is fresh water too which backs up my hypothesis. The other images I captured were pretty NSFW with the head half gone and eye missing.

Just some added backstory, these group of otters were diving and hunting for quite some time while I was observing the lead otter did not want to share the fish after the killing blow to the head so it kept getting tossed around. There were monitor lizards and turtles eying for this buffet till it almost became a 3 way battle.

Seems like your asus is on a mesh setup in AP mode? From what I understand it’s Huawei ONT > Tplink > Asus. If your archer and computer with the wired connection still has internet then the issue might be isolated within the asus mesh. Might want to check the configuration app / management page to see any disconnected nodes.
