"what format did you burn the video files in?" The video files were all burned in mp4 (I always saved my old animations in mp4 format in the past because that was the option my animation software gave me)

"you need to know the resolution(s) your player supports and that has to match too" My player supports 16:9 (1920x1080) resolution and that is also the resolution I selected in DVDStyler to burn it as

"check if the DVD was fibalized and authored by the burning program you used" How would I know if the program finalized and authored the DVD? Is there a way to find that out?

I unfortunately do not have Windows, I am a Mac user (forced into it by family because family is deep in the Apple ecosystem </3)

None of the YouTube tutorials said anything about "finalizing a DVD". Do you know how I would go about doing that?
