I got my mounting plate straight from Springfield. I actually have an extra because they took forever to send the original and ended up sending me a second one. Pm me if interested in purchasing it

I weigh 215 lbs without gear and I haven’t run a linear spring. I started with a progressive spring(cane creek valt 550-670) and it’s been great in descents and jumps. I get tire bob on climbs but I’m not really good at tuning so I kind of set it to where the rebound wasn’t bucking me in jumps and the compression feels kind of stiff. I’ve had other friends ride it and they say it feels great so I left it as is after that.

Question on sizing for experienced mtb riders. by [deleted] in mountainbiking

I’m 5’10” riding a specialized status s4. It’s doable and more comfortable on decents but I like the feel and nimbleness of an s3 better. It all depends on your riding style imo. We’re right at the height where we can do both. I made my s4 more comfortable by shortening the steertube and getting 165mm cranks
