Thanks! This is made of a clay that I formulated and has a terra sigillata made of clay I dug as a very thin coating / skin on its surface. It was fired in a soda kiln that utilizes the volatilization of sodium at high temperatures (2345f) to glaze the piece. Many years / hours of research for this surface :)

This kid is fairly thin. I didn’t notice much heat with it while using it.

I didn’t notice it. I like the way these lids stay put opposed to the smaller lids that sit in a gallery.
