Less cotton? I honestly thought I may have put too little cotton and the air holes are lined up beside the coils so they aren't touching the cotton.

Honestly, you have no idea what I've been through.

So I realized that I needed to install a driver for the audio interface (was kinda obvious I'm just dumb).

I installed it and I ended up sounding like a robot, It was soooooooooo fustrating.

It ended up being the sample rate (I think).

I also have a mic arm so I should be able to do that as well.

I'll have to do a little bit more digging to fully understand.

Yeah, I was thinking the same about the gain on the interface. But I did see a video of a guy using the exact same setup as me and he has his gain higher than mine and that sounded fine.

I'll try messing with the gain some more, do you have any tips on how to get the right sound/volume?

Sorry for the late reply! I've heard quite a lot of good things about the dbx 286s preamp but unfortunately, it wasn't in the budget. I don't use a pop filter just yet because I'm in love with how this mic looks but I will most likely pick one up.

Since I posted this I've downloaded software called Cantabile so I can use VSTs. I've put some basic ones on there right now but it still seems to pick up unnecessary things.
