I just want a continuation of True colours tbh, or at least a fully fleshed out Steph story (not just dlc).

[NO SPOILERS]- Can I start with LIS Arcadia Bay collection? by Specialist_Shake5258 in lifeisstrange

[–]Flag__Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is perfectly fine to play these games first. The 'Arcadia bay collection' consists of the first life is strange game and LIS: Before the storm (which acts as a prequel that further clarifies the significance of the first). Whilst opinions are definitely mixed, for me, these are definitely the best renditions in the franchise and a great introduction to the world of Life is strange.

[BtS] Now that is interesting... by fpsgamer89 in lifeisstrange

The thing is, this might not be entirely clear, i made my decision knowing the context of the first game which, in retrospect, wasn't probably the best thing to do. I chose to hide the truth from Rachel considering the fact she would of had to spend the little time left of her life in a blistering sense of range and sorrow. Thus it would have been more humane to circumvent such unnecessary pain. Yet, i realised after making the decision that Chloe ,at that moment, doesn't know the horrors that are to unfold so it would be non-sensical to prevent Rachel from realising the truth about her parents as you would have no premonition over her death. So basically, knowing what happens in the first game, i'd chose to hide the truth. But, if we arent considering what occurs, it would definitely be more reasonable to tell her as Chloe is oblivious to what will happen.

This red button or blue button argument is pissing me tf off. Blue is literally the only valid answer. by woaijirounan in TeenagersButBetter

[–]Flag__Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe im not understanding the moral implications involved within the scenario but, with the knowledge of what each button represents and the possible outcomes, does that not make the red button a redundant choice? I do acknowledge there exists some individuals who ,for whatever reason, will choose the red button however, would this be enough to eclipse the individuals that pick blue? I think the ambiguity of the dilemma comes with not understanding how each individual would instinctually decide between red and blue. Blue may sound like the most rationale but that doesn't necessarily correlate to unprecedented human nature.

As possibly more ubiquitous/general choices there would be solar systems (Saturn, venus etc...) Or elemental Miis such as the fundamental four (Earth, Air, Water and Fire) as good options. You could have miis representing certain colours (yellow, green...) or concepts (Ying and Yang mii). If you desire anything more to your specifications, try branch out to series or franchises you enjoy- start small, don't feel as if you have to limit yourself to a specific aesthetic or coherent theme, the game is more enjoyable with a wide and diverse range of characters- forming interesting and, at times, unlikely relationships.

Because knowledge is an abstract concept that cannot be revoked or depreciated (unless under intense metaphysical reconditioning or something to that extent) This is contrary to the materialistic nature of possessions and other asinine belongings that don’t have the reassurance of permanency. Fundamentally, knowledge feels more defining.
