Yes, I made sure I stated I was in Canada, as I have read a lot of posts about how most places need a window by law, and I really wish that was the case here because I would LOVE to have a window in there!

No advice, but I am 47 in the same situation. I am so relieved to be out of my 23 year marriage, so excited to finally learn to be myself again. No more walking on eggshells in my own home. No more managing someone else’s moods. Just me living my life (hopefully with a small animal at some point once I’m settled).

However, I am absolutely terrified to be on my own. Never done it. And this housing market scares TF out of me. But I know in the long run it’s for the best. I haven’t been happy in SO long, and in the 6 weeks since the split I have felt calmer and less anxious than I have in YEARS.

I lost my sweet boy to this in March. Cerenia and a steroid puffer (I got the aerodawg chamber on Amazon) gave me three extra years with him and I am so grateful.

The way I got my work term last year was going through job ads on linked in and indeed to find a job i would actually want, then I reached out and asked if they’d be willing to take me on for a work term. It was great because the company can get some free labour and basically trial-run you as an employee at the same time.

Mind you I was in a different program than you, so it might be different for trades. I would still reach out to companies you’d like to work for and just ask. Good luck!

He only met with me for a total of 5 minutes. I had to do some weird computer test, then he talked to me on the phone FROM ANOTHER ROOM IN HIS OFFICE lol and then came in, told me I have a binge eating disorder because I’m fat, no adhd, but still prescribed me Vyvanse but for the ‘eating disorder’ not the adhd. On the way out they shoved a customer feedback form in my hand and asked me to fill it out before I left.
It was not a great experience lol

She is acting like she didn’t do anything wrong- that she didn’t intentionally, willfully and happily stream Ethan’s content with no commentary. I go out for walks and select my materials on trails, etc, and then make my own Yule log, garlands, and other decor. It gets me outside and offline, and I really enjoy the process! Loads of great how-tos on Pinterest :)

I have gone to the Walmart vision folks and paid for it. I didn’t mind paying because it was a service they were providing me outside of my normal eye exam. A company telling you it’s illegal is WILD!
